Head of the GU MVD of Russia Anatoly Yakunin: biography and activities

Yakunin Anatoly Ivanovich is a fairly well-known person in law enforcement agencies, as he heads the Moscow GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Even an ordinary policeman, conscientiously performing his duties, brings invaluable benefits to society and the Motherland. What then is there to talk about a man who holds such a high position? Let's follow the way of life, which was passed by the head of the GU MVD Moscow Anatoly Yakunin.

Youth

Anatoly Yakunin was born in 1964 in a village in the Orel region. His father, Ivan Yakunin, is a front-line soldier who returned from the war, losing sight, which, incidentally, did not prevent him in the future to create a large family, in which there were six children.

After graduation from school, Anatoly Yakunin was drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union. He served in the border troops. It was during this period that all his ideas about the world and his future fate were turned over. Before that, he planned to devote his life to work in the village, but now Anatoly Yakunin realized that his true vocation is service to the Motherland.

The first steps in the Ministry of Internal Affairs

True, he remained in the ranks of the Armed Forces, after the termination of his service, he failed because of problems with his parents, who needed the support of his son. However, this did not stop the guy in 1985 from getting a job in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a district inspector, who was in charge of two village councils at once. Service in the police really liked Anatoly Yakunin, he realized that this is his vocation, and completely gave himself to the work that was interesting to him. An indicator of his self-giving can be considered that the first offender was detained by him three months after taking office.

A little later, Anatoly Ivanovich went to investigative work.

Career

In 1991, Anatoly Yakunin was appointed deputy head of his native Dolzhansky district police department. Since then, he began to climb up the career ladder. So, in 1994 he was appointed head of the Department of Internal Affairs. As always, to fulfill his duties Yakunin Anatoly Ivanovich approached very conscientiously, and demanded the same from his subordinates. Therefore, it was no surprise to anyone that the department headed by this man had some of the best indicators in the region.

It is natural that any diligence and perseverance is rewarded. Anatoly Yakunin was no exception. The Ministry of Internal Affairs gave him a new post - head of the department of internal affairs in the city of Livny. His duties also included the supervision of the district.

In 2002, a new appointment followed. Anatoly Yakunin took the place of the head of the department for combating organized crime Orel. It was already a post not of local, but of regional scale, and on one of the most responsible and dangerous sites. It's not a secret that organized crime is quite often connected with high-ranking officials.

Study

But further promotion was impossible without obtaining a higher level of education. It was not a secret for Anatoly Yakunin either. Therefore, after graduating from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he entered the Academy of Public Service, which he graduated with honors in 2003.

As you can see, there is a type of people who aspire to be the first in everything: in work, in family life, and in studies. Such a man was Anatoly Yakunin. His biography says that after graduating from the Academy, the life of this man made a sharp turn. In 2005, he was appointed deputy police chief of the Oryol region. By that time Anatoly Ivanovich already had the rank of colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Further service achievements

Not such a man was Yakunin, to stop at what he had achieved. However, even if he himself did not aim for further career growth, his outstanding merits and managerial qualities could not be overlooked by the higher ranks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, which literally doomed Anatoly Ivanovich to the assignment of new ranks and promotions.

From 2006 to 2007 Anatoly Yakunin had to temporarily perform the duties of the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Oryol region. But in 2007, on a permanent basis, another person was appointed to this position - Vladimir Kolokoltsev, whom Yakunin again became the first deputy.

Loud acts

It should be noted that this tandem worked very well, showing mutual understanding in the working relations, as well as uncompromising in the fight against the underworld. It was during the leadership of Kolokoltsov and Yakunin, the Oryol regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that a number of high-profile cases were opened that could be brought to a logical conclusion.

They were not afraid to conduct investigative actions, even against major officials, if they violated the law. In particular, a lot of cases were initiated against people close to the local governor. Also, the resonance was defeated by the largest gangster group of the Orel region - the Sparrow gang.

Transfer to another area

But, unfortunately, for just over a year, such successful cooperation between Kolokoltsev and Yakunin has lasted. In 2008, their tandem disintegrated, as Anatoly Ivanovich was transferred to an equivalent position in the Voronezh region. It is difficult to say now what this transfer was dictated by: Yakunin's personal desire, the machinations of officials to whom he crossed the road, or simply the top management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs believed that it was in the Voronezh region that Anatoly Ivanovich's firm hand was now needed. And they say that it was a request from the head of the Voronezh police, who wanted to have a professional like Yakunin in his assistants.

So, Yakunin became deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Voronezh region. In addition, he was offered the position of head of the criminal police. The Voronezh Region, because its population was more than three times that of Orel, was considered a more complex and responsible part of the work. So to some extent this translation could be called even promotion.

In 2009 there was an actual increase in Yakunin's official rank. According to the presidential decree, he now became a Major-General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

It was clear that such a professional as Anatoly Ivanovich, for a long time on secondaries can not remain, holding the post of first deputy regional police chiefs. In 2010, Yakunin took the place of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Novgorod region. In this position, as before, Anatoly Ivanovich focused on combating organized crime, although, of course, he did not lose sight of other important areas of police activity.

In 2011 Yakunin successfully passed the re-certification, connected with the reorganization of the police into the police, thereby confirming his right to be the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Novgorod region. Anatoly Ivanovich took personal control of the re-certification of his subordinates, as he wanted to have in the staff of really qualified personnel, which you could reliably rely on.

It should be noted that before the arrival of Yakunin, the Novgorod branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was considered one of the most lagging behind in Russia, and he was able to transform it into a truly effective body to combat crime. This was confirmed by excellent performance and performance - one of the highest in the country. But the main achievement, of course, was the reduction in the level of crime in the region.

Appointment of the head of police in Moscow

Demonstrating very high performance in all positions held by Yakunin throughout his career, Anatoly Ivanovich did not just say in words but proved that the Russian government does not find a better candidate for the post of head of the capital's police than he is. Moscow is the largest metropolis with a rather severe crime situation. In addition, it must be taken into account that the capital is the face of the whole country. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow must have unprecedented professional characteristics and an unblemished reputation. This person turned out to be Anatoly Yakunin.

It should be noted that his positive characteristics as a leader overcame that negative factor that he had never previously worked in Moscow. Many experts believed that the main law-enforcement officer of the city will be appointed person who has not worked for a year in law enforcement agencies of the capital. Nevertheless, the leadership knew how quickly Anatoly Ivanovich entered the course of the business in a new region for him, which he had already demonstrated more than once.

Therefore, it was Yakunin who was appointed head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow. The decree on appointment was endorsed by the Russian president in the summer of 2012.

It is noteworthy that before Yakunin, this post was occupied by his longtime colleague from the times of work in the Orel region VA Kolokoltsov. Now he went on promotion, becoming minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that is the head of all police of the country. Thus, Yakunin, in fact, was again directly subordinated to him, only now their posts were much higher than previously.

Job in Moscow

The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow, Anatoly Yakunin, continues to show very high results of his activities, as well as on the posts he held earlier. Hopes that the tandem Kolokoltseva and Yakunin, who had done so brilliantly in his duties in the Orel region, will not fail in the capital, were fully justified. Criminogenic situation in the city is completely under the control of employees of law enforcement bodies.

Yakunin, as before, is very conscientious and professional in his duties. He also received a new service promotion: now Yakunin Anatoly Ivanovich - Lieutenant-General.

Awards

Naturally, a person who devoted his whole life to the service of the Motherland, can not be ignored by various state awards. Lieutenant-General Anatoly Yakunin is the owner of many distinctive signs of different rank and dignity.

Omitting less significant of them, it is worth noting the breastplate of the honorable worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the medal for achievements in the protection of law and order, as well as the badge of merit for the Novgorod region. The last award Yakunin was marked when he held the post of the head of the Novgorod branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Anatoly Ivanovich can not count smaller awards and rewards, but, of course, it is more important for him not the formal side of the awarding, but the sincere gratitude of people for the work done.

A family

The family of Anatoly Yakunin is small - wife and daughter Catherine.

It is known that the acquaintance with his wife happened even in those times when Anatoly Yakunin served in the Orel region. His choice then worked as a passport officer in one of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

However, Anatoly Ivanovich, like most other high-ranking civil servants, does not like to spread much about his relatives. First of all, this is due to the specifics of his work, because quite a few ill-wishers have personal accounts with Anatoly Yakunin, and, quite possibly, they will want to recoup their family.

Although sometimes, despite his steel character, Anatoly Yakunin can not contain the words of pride for his daughter, who followed in the footsteps of his father. Ekaterina graduated from a law school and became the first assistant to the prosecutor of one of the prosecutor's offices of the city of Orel, and from 2011 was transferred to work in the capital.

Certainly, he is proud of the achievements of his daughter Anatoly Yakunin. Relatives are proud of his work for the benefit of the Motherland.

general characteristics

Anatoly Yakunin can be characterized as a person of unprecedented self-giving in work. He is very demanding of himself and his subordinates, which always allowed him to take the front lines to those structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which he controlled. As for a single-minded, industrious and selfless person about Anatoly Ivanovich, many high-ranking government officials and experts respond. Especially warm memories of the general work with Anatoly Yakunin remained with the head of the Novgorod region. In addition, Anatoly Ivanovich deserved the fame of an uncompromising fighter against organized crime and corruption. His merits have long been set as an example to all workers of law enforcement agencies of Russia.

One can say with confidence: if there were more people of such a warehouse of character in various state posts, then the development of Russia was much more rapid than it is now.
