Lidaz is released in the form of lyophilizate, intended for the preparation of a solution for topical application and injection. The active substance of the drug is hyaluronidase (64 IU in the 1 st vial). Pharmaceutical means refers to a group of drugs that have proteolytic activity.

Lidase, the instruction indicates, is an enzyme preparation isolated from the testes of animals, namely - cattle. Has cleavage properties with respect to connective tissue due to the activity of hyaluronic acid. Under the action of the drug, the permeability of tissues and walls of blood vessels increases, the flow of fluids in the body is facilitated, edematous processes are reduced, the scars are softened, scars dissolve, joint mobility improves, the development of contracture stops, and its formation is prevented.

The drug is prescribed:
- with burn, traumatic, postoperative cicatrices;
- with long-term non-healing ulcers (for example, radiation);
- with Dupuytren's contracture;
- with joint stiffness, as well as their contracture caused by inflammation or trauma, osteoarthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis;
- with painful condition of lumbar discs;
- with chronic tendovaginitis, scleroderma, soft tissue hematoma;
- in preparation for plastic surgery to remove scarring;
- with myocardial infarction, hydrocephalus;
- with pulmonary tuberculosis, complicated by bronchial lesions;
- with inflammatory processes in the upper respiratory tract, bronchi;
- with allergic rhinitis, rheumatoid arthritis, arachnoiditis;
- with traumatic lesions of peripheral nerves and nerve plexuses,
With the aim of improving the absorption of medicines;
- with hyphema, hemophthalmia, retinopathy of various origin.

Lidase, dosage instructions

For resorption of scars, the drug is administered subcutaneously or near the affected area (1 ml) every day or, on the recommendation of a doctor, every other day. The course is designed for 10-20 injections.
For the treatment of nerve plexuses or nerves, a subcutaneous injection is prescribed in the area of the affected area of 1 ml of Lidase after 1 day. The course is designed for 12-15 injections.

In the Lidase Ophthalmology, the instruction indicates, is administered by a subconjunctival method of administration of 0.3 ml, a parabulbar injection method of 0.5 ml, electrophoresis.

To prepare medicament, 64 UE hyaluronidase should be placed in a solution of sodium chloride or in boiled water (10 ml). The amount of sodium chloride is 10 ml, the concentration is 0.9%. Gauze bandage folded in four, put on a sick zone, cover it with wax paper and fix it. The course is calculated depending on the degree of defeat for a period of 15 to 60 days. The bandage should be kept for 15-18 hours. Every two weeks, take a break for 3 or 4 days.

Lidase in cosmetology is used in procedures with electrophoresis. To do this, prepare a solution of 300 IU of the drug and 60 ml of distilled water.
