Since the late 90's and to this day, the domestic car manufacturer AMO ZIL is going through difficult times. Despite this, the plant does not postpone the development of new models of trucks for later, but, on the contrary, makes every effort to make this or that model serially. So, the most successful projects of the "crisis times" ZIL can rightfully be considered models of medium-tonnage cars of the family "Bychok" and heavy trucks called ZIL-433180 (onboard modifications and dump trucks). And the latter gained great popularity immediately after the debut in the domestic market. So, let's take a closer look at what the ZIL dumper of model 433180 is.

Design

The appearance of the novelty was very successful, harmonious and even attractive. "Donor" for the development of the cockpit was model 4331, which was serially produced since 1992. In contrast, the ZIL-dumper 433180 model has found a more extended hood and interior design, although, if you look at the novelty in the profile, the overall layout still has a similarity with the older brother of the model 4331. The front facing now has a more modern look - A new grille and a slightly modified bumper give the car an attractive look.

Inside

Unfortunately, only the external appearance affected the positive changes - in the cockpit all the details remained as old and miserable as the "donor" of 1992. Black dermatine seats, a black instrument panel, and even enamel on metal parts are also painted black. The only thing that changes the picture is the multi-colored arrows of the tachometer and speedometer, which somehow decorate the interior. In the rest, the novice is a modernized copy of the Soviet workaholic, known as ZIL-131.

The main features of the novelty are hidden under the hood. The car is initially equipped with a modern turbo diesel engine of Minsk production "MMZ D 260.11", which corresponds to the ecological standard "Euro-2". The unit has a considerable power (178 horsepower) and a torque of 708 N / m. Such a truck is capable of lifting loads of up to 8 tons, while its Soviet colleague ZIL-130 dump truck (diesel) raised only 5 tons of bulk materials. This is indeed a great progress for the company, especially since the wheel formula of the novelty remains the same - 4x2.

Despite the fact that according to the passport data the novelty consumes about 22 liters of diesel fuel per hundred kilometers, many drivers claim that the real fuel consumption rate is approximately 19 liters. This makes the truck even more attractive from the point of view of profitability.

For today, several modifications of this truck are performed serially.
