Wheat bread: caloric content, which is better to choose

Proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle is the motto of almost every modern person. A number of studies have been carried out which showed that the daily consumption of white bread in large quantities (including buns, fats, etc.) is three times faster than the development of diabetes mellitus. That's why nutritionists around the world recommend replacing the first-grade bread with rye or made from coarser flour.

Bread, as we found out, is a fairly high-calorie product, but this is judged by the whole bun. There is an opinion that white bread is more caloric, in fact, the difference is small. In white it is 240-250 kcal, and in black grades there are about 180-220. Each piece of home-made bread contains vitamins PP, H, E, B, A and micronutrients useful for the body - molybdenum, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iodine. At its request, it can include cereals, seeds and fragrant spices.
