What is the information society and how does it affect the development of the individual?

It's no secret that the modern information society has both positive and negative aspects. Is it a major consequence that in the future adults and educated people will not be able to tell the truth from a beautiful lie? What is the information society and how does it differ from the agrarian or industrial one?

A person can orient himself in difficult conditions when he has an established system of social, moral and spiritual principles. And what is the information society? A continuous flow of information that falls on a person simply does not allow you to often form a point of mental support. The information society in Russia has generated many stereotypes and misconceptions, both in terms of health and family, and in terms of the organization of work and life. Undoubtedly, educated people have free access to information and derive maximum benefit from this, but the average person simply can not be guided in such a quantity of contradictory information! What is the information society through the eyes of a common man and how does it affect his moral and cultural values?

A lot of teachers and teachers are sounding the alarm. They argue that modern children simply do not know how to concentrate because of their upbringing, or rather, their absence. Answering the question, what is the information society and whether it is a positive or negative phenomenon, it is first of all necessary to pay attention to its alleged influence on future generations. What will result in liberal education, free from any rules, norms and dogmas? Modern children are really much more goal-oriented than their parents. But does the end justify the means? Will it not happen that on their way, dictated by selfish aspirations to personal success, they step over the bonds of friendship and kinship? Undoubtedly, such an approach will allow them to survive in the modern world, but at what price ...

There is another approach to education - static, but is it better than the previous method? In this case, parents from early childhood release the child into "free swimming" without interfering in his upbringing. The child compensates for the lack of parental attention by watching television programs and computer games. It is from there that he derives his moral principles and values. Such a person, becoming an adult, will not learn to control the flow of incoming information. Unfortunately, in the future he will never be able to adequately analyze the words of politicians, because he did not learn how to think independently in his childhood. Schools and universities nowadays devote very little time to the development of thinking, therefore it is practically impossible to develop mental abilities there. It is much easier to manage such a population, so the government is launching such mass propaganda today for introducing a test control system in educational institutions. But to obey her or not is already the choice of every person and every parent!
