A lot of French pastries are also known in our country: profiteroles, croissants, and poultry. They are good not only at home with tea, but also at any gala dinner as a dessert.

One of the most famous French rolls is brioche. This word was dating back to the 15th century, but a modern brioche bun appeared later. It is named after the French confectioner Briosh. But there are other opinions, for example, that the name Buns came from a verb that means "to beat, knead," or that originally these buns were baked in the city of Bree.

French brioche bun is baked from yeast dough. It is made according to a special recipe. In dough is added, in addition to eggs and milk, butter, so it turns out a little wet and heavy. The very products are so soft, lush and airy that they quickly gained popularity all over the world.

How do you get such air cakes? It's all about the unusual way of preparing the dough. After mixing it is placed not in heat, but in the cold. A day later, hitting in a warm place, it starts to rise very quickly, in addition, the condition for rapid lifting is that the dough is placed in a narrow bowl, so the baking turns out so tender and airy. But the cooking process takes a very long time, so modern brioche brioches differ from traditional ones.

The shape that these buns have is unusual and special. Traditional brioche brioche is baked in special molds, which have ribbed edges and taper downwards. On top of the buns form a ball. Still widespread around the world are buns that originated from Nantes. These products are made from several small balls, which are placed on a baking sheet close to each other, and another ball is placed on top. These buns are very easy to recognize: a special round shape, a golden shiny crust and an unusually soft and airy dough.

Now the options for baking these rolls are much larger.

For example, a ball is made from the test, a groove is pressed from above with a finger and a smaller ball is placed in it. But you can bake buns of any shape, very tasty baking with different fillings, for example, with jam. Often spices are added to the dough for these products: anise, saffron, vanilla.

How to make a brioche bun?

Dough of 500 grams of flour, salt, vanillin, 80 grams of sugar, 8 grams of yeast and 6 eggs to knead very well, at least 15 minutes whisk in a blender. Add 250 grams of butter, cut into cubes, and again mix thoroughly. Allow the dough to stand for 45 minutes in a warm place, and then again well knead and put in the refrigerator for the night. In the morning, let the dough rise for an hour and mold the round buns. Lubricate them with eggs and bake on medium heat for 10 minutes.

A brioche brioche is most often sweet. These delicious sweets were traditionally served in France for breakfast. But sometimes they were made fresh, although from this they did not lose their popularity.
