What did Oleg Koshevoy accomplish the feat? Brief biography of the hero

The newest domestic reorganization of the skating rink was carried out not only by living people. She also touched on the heroes of the past. Their debunking was simply a stream. Among these people belonged to the underground organization "Young Guard".

"Exposing" of young anti-fascists

The essence of these "revelations" was that the existence of this organization was almost completely denied. According to the theory, even if these young anti-fascists, destroyed by Hitler, existed, their mite in the fight against the invaders was of minor proportions. Therefore, they do not even need to be remembered.

The share of Oleg Koshevoy had more than others. The reason for this was his title as the commissioner of this organization, which was used in the historiography of the Soviet Union. Most likely, this was the main reason for the great dislike of his personality as "unmaskers."

There were even rumors that Oleg Koshevoy, whose feat is known practically to the whole world, has nothing to do with the "Red Guard". His mother, a fairly wealthy woman in the pre-war period, just decided to earn some money on her son's glory. And for this, she identified the corpse of an old man, passing him off as a dead Oleg. The same glory did not pass over other people. These include Mom Zoe and Sasha Kosmodemyanskikh Lubov Timofeevna.

People who deal with these matters work in the Russian media until our time. They are candidates and doctors of historical sciences, having high academic degrees and a fairly good position in society.

"Young Guard" and Oleg Koshevoi

The Young Guards operated in the mining town of Krasnodon. It is located about 50 kilometers from Lugansk. During the Great Patriotic War he was called Voroshilovgrad.

In 1930-1940 years in this city there was a large number of working young people. In the education of these young pioneers and members of the Komsomol, the development of the spirit of Soviet ideology was central. Therefore, they treated the fight against the German occupiers in the summer of 1942 as a matter of honor.

It is not surprising that within a short period of time after the occupation of Krasnodon, several youth groups with an underground nature were formed. They were created and acted independently of each other. Red Army men who fled from captivity, also joined these communities.

Ivan Turkevich also belonged to these Red Army men. He was a lieutenant, who was elected commander of the Young Guard. It was the organization that young anti-fascists created in Krasnodon in the early autumn of 1942. Among the representatives of the headquarters of this association was Oleg Koshevoy, whose exploit does not leave our contemporaries indifferent.

The main biographical facts

The future hero of the Soviet Union was born on June 8, 1926. His homeland is the town of Priluki, which is located on the Chernigov earth. In 1934 he began to study at the school of the town of Rzhishchev. In 3 years Koshevoy Oleg Vasilevich, whose feat was waiting for him ahead, was forced to move with his father to the city of Anthracite in the Lugansk region. The change of residence and place of study was due to the divorce of his parents.

Since 1940, his mother, Elena Nikolaevna , lived in Krasnodon . Soon Oleg Koshevoi moved to her, the truth about the feat of which up to our time worries the world. Here he continues to study at a local school and gets to know the future young guardsmen. He is described as a brave, inquisitive and well-read boy.

In school years he was the editor of the newspaper, the participant of amateur performances. Oleg Koshevoy, whose feat will remain in people's memory for a long time, was also the author of poems and stories. They were printed in the Krasnodon almanac "Youth". The main influence on the formation of his worldview was the works of N. Ostrovsky, M. Gorky, E. Voynich, T. Shevchenko.

The beginning of the underground activities of Oleg

Oleg Koshevoy in the summer of 1942 was 16 years old. At that time, he should not have been in the city. Before the occupation of Krasnodon, it was evacuated along with the others.

But because of the enemy's rapid advance they were not able to move a considerable distance. Therefore, he was forced to return to the city. His mother, when she told me about the feat done by Oleg Kosheva, said that he was at that time very gloomy, blackened by grief. Oleg almost did not smile, walked from corner to corner and did not know where to put himself. For him, it was no longer a shock that was happening around. It only caused in the soul of the future hero an uncontrollable sense of anger.

But after the first shock was experienced, the young man begins to seek among his friends like-minded people who agree to become members of the anti-fascist group. In the beginning of the autumn of the same year the Koshevoy group became part of the "Young Guard". Here he planned the operations of the young guardsmen, took part in various actions, maintained contact with representatives of other underground groups that operated in and around Krasnodon.

Oath of the Young Guard

Young children from Krasnodar in the autumn of 1942 took an oath. They promised to take revenge on the enemy for everything. Then the eldest of them was 19 years old, and the youngest - 14. Oleg Koshevoy, who was the main organizer and inspirer, turned 16 years old.

The feat of Oleg Koshevoy, whose description in many sources testifies to this, fulfilled this oath, as, indeed, all the other members of the anti-fascist group. They could not be broken even with the help of inhuman tortures, carried out by the German occupiers after the arrest. From January 15 to January 30, 1943 71 representatives of the "Malady Guards" were thrown into the pits of the local mine. Some of them were still alive at that time. Others were shot before that.

After a few days in the town of Rovenki shooting Oleg Koshevoy, Lyubov Shevtsova, Semen Ostapenko, Dmitry Ogurtsov and Victor Subbotin took place. Another four young men were executed in other areas. Before they died, they all suffered inhuman torture and torture. They were not destined to live until the liberation of Krasnodon. The Red Army came to the city on February 14, 1943, just a few days after their death.

The activities of Koshevoy in the underground organization

The most desperate and courageous participant of the "Young Guard" was Oleg Koshevoi. The feat briefly and fairly vividly testifies about this. Without his attention, almost no military operation took place. The hero was engaged in distribution of leaflets, supervised the operations connected with rout of machines of fascists and gathering of the weapon necessary for high-grade activity of young guards. But this is not all the underground activities that led Oleg Koshevoy. The feat briefly speaks about the hero's active activity:

  • He and his supporters set fire to the harvest of grain that was to be sent to Germany;
  • On his account many liberated prisoners of war.

He was also the coordinator of the activities of all underground groups in the area of Krasnodon. Young Komsomol members that were part of the "Young Guard" were inspired by the victorious glory of our army, which drove the enemy away and was supposed to liberate the city from the enemy in the near future. This served as an excuse for activating the actions of the young guards. They became more bold and bold. Because of their youth, they felt invulnerable.

Activities of the Young Guard

The young people who were in the underground organization were not familiar with the laws of the underground. But this did not stop them for some time to violate the numerous plans of the enemy authorities and raise the inhabitants of the city and settlements to fight against them.

The tasks and activities performed by Kosheva Oleg Vasilievich (he was helped by his associates, members of the Young Guards):

  • Active dissemination of campaign leaflets;
  • Installation of 4 radio receivers and informing the city's population of all the information bulletins of the Informbureau;
  • Reception of new people in the Komsomol ranks;
  • Issuance of temporary certificates;
  • Acceptance of membership fees;
  • The preparation of an armed insurrection, the extraction of weapons;
  • Carrying out various diversionary acts (the liberation of fighters from the concentration camp, the killing of enemy officers, the undermining of their vehicles, etc.).

Betrayal, arrests and executions

Over time, a very wide circle of young people was involved in the ranks of the organization. Among them were those who turned out to be less persistent and hardy. This was the main reason that it was disclosed by police officers.

In January 1943, mass arrests of the Young Guard began. They received from the headquarters an indication of an urgent exit from the city. Small groups of young underground fighters had to make an inconspicuous move to the front line. Oleg Koshevoy, whose feat speaks of him as a brave enough man, in a group with some like-minded people made an attempt to cross the front line. But it was unsuccessful.

Return to death

Therefore, on January 11, he returned to the city in an extremely exhausted and tired state. Despite this, the next day, Oleg Kosheva (feat, a photo of him can be found in historical reports) is sent to Bokovo. On the way to it near the town of Rovenki, the field gendarmerie detains him. The hero was first taken to the local police station, and then to the district gendarmerie.

He had several unfilled temporary Komsomol identity cards and a seal of an underground organization, as well as his Komsomol ticket, which could not be left even at that time. I could not hide this evidence in the forest Koshevoy Oleg Vasilievich. The feat briefly and vividly testifies of him as a devoted person.

Terrible interrogations and shooting of Oleg Koshevoy

The future Hero of the Soviet Union during the interrogation was heroic. He never bowed his head, staunchly and heroically endured all the torture. And in this situation, Oleg Kosheva performed a feat. The summary of it is that unshakable will and stamina did not fall under the pressure of red-hot iron, wattle and other sophisticated tortures of the enemy.

During the next torture he loudly predicted defeat to the enemies. After all, our troops were already so close. The fact that the sixteen-year-old commissar survived the tortures and mockeries in the prison chambers, he became completely gray. But to the last breath he was proud and unconquered, not betraying his companions and that holy cause to which he dedicated his whole life. This is how Oleg Kosheva performed the feat. The summary of it can not convey the full force and influence of this historical person.

February 9, 1943, his heart was stopped by a bullet that flew out of the arms of the Hitler's executioner. It happened in the Rattlesnake Forest. At that time, almost all of his comrades-in-arms and like-minded people were executed. And three days later, on February 14, 1943, the troops of the Red Army entered the city.

Postwar glory of the young guards

The ashes of Oleg Koshevy March 20, 1943, buried in a mass grave, which is located in the center of the town of Rovenky. It will not be long before the names of those who dedicated their lives to underground activities in the occupation will be named streets and organizations. Writers will write about their works. The directors will make films.

They have fulfilled their vow to the end. And their names to this day shine in eternal glory.
