What attracts the attention of embroidery stitch

To date, in needlework, there are different types of embroidery, which are performed on the drawn contour. This includes the smooth surface, which is filling the free contour of the pattern with smooth stitches. Most often, these are patterns of plants and flowers, they are performed by a thread of the most diverse shades on any fabric. So, embroidery with a smoothness for a long period of time serves as the main type of embroidery used for decorating clothes, clothes or other household items.

At present, the white surface, shaded and slotted, and also the so-called golden sewing have become very popular. However, all types of smoothing can be divided into two groups:

1. One-sided - the front side when embroidering has a big difference from the wrong one, since it is covered one by a dense thread flooring. Thus, the stitches on the front surface are tight, on the purl - the dashed lines are formed along the contour of the pattern.

2. Double-sided surface - both the front and back sides are completely covered with stitches.

The white surface is made with a silk thread of white color on such a fabric as a cambric or crepe de Chine. Such types of smooth surface as "pyshechka", "leaf", "split", and also "tassel", "sheaf" and "spider" are widely used for embroidering original beautiful things and decor items.

It should be noted that it is necessary to select a certain kind of threads for each embroidery. So, convex embroideries are made with a mulina or silk thread of different colors, it is recommended to embroider a bead with a twisted thread. Also in needlework such threads as Madeira, linen, darning or cotton are used. In general, the thread and fabric are selected depending on the purpose of the product and the nature of the pattern on it. It must be borne in mind that the embroidery is carried out on the embroidery frame, and the pattern is applied to the fabric using copying paper. It is recommended that the fabric be thick and smooth. To prevent the contour of the pattern from visible on the product, the needle must be pierced beyond the contours of the image lines.

Basically, the embroidery technique is used when creating a large panel, bright flowers and leaves will look beautiful on a monochrome background. However, it is possible to embroider not only large parts of the image, but also small details, for example, stems of flowers or twigs.

It can be noted that embroidery for beginners should be started with the choice of fabric and threads. To save the thread, it is necessary to pierce a new stitch from the front side as close as possible to the location of the latter. In addition, embroidery is necessary on the tightly stretched fabric on the hoop, otherwise it will wrinkle. Stitches should be even and neat.

Widespread use of embroidery on the creation of applications, that is, patches on napkins or tablecloths, as well as openwork embroidery when dressing. Most often, such items of clothing as collars and cuffs are decorated, in some cases large patterns of flowers, chains or leaves on blouses or other underwear can be created. Tablecloths and napkins, woven smooth, decorate any room.
