Vogele - asphalt paver. Technical characteristics, productivity
The history of the company Vogele lasts more than 150 years. The company overcame many obstacles until it found its true vocation. Until 1926 they were engaged in the production of equipment intended for the railway industry. After some time, we switched to the production of asphalt pavers.
The stacker belongs to the category of complex machines and requires high qualification from engineers and developers. Machines perform typical tasks associated with laying the asphalt-concrete mixture and its alignment. One unit is capable of replacing the whole complex of working equipment. All that is necessary for the packer is the timely delivery of the working material.
Vogele - the leader among road-building machines
After the first successful sample, the company's specialists began to think about improving their skills. In 1950, a model was developed with a bunker for the finished mixture of asphalt, in the same year the machine came off the assembly line Vogele. The asphalt paver was a breakthrough in the road construction of that time.
In today's market, Vogele ranks first among the technology of this class. The enterprise is not doing anything else, except for the creation and improvement of machines for laying asphalt, as well as additional equipment for them. The appearance of mobile feeders, where the mixture is fed continuously, is caused by the need to automate the process. This made it possible to speed up the laying of the roadway at no additional cost. The first company to apply this type of system was the company we were considering.
There is not a single enterprise that could compete with Vogele. Asphalt paver, created by engineers, paired with a mobile feeder forms a whole complex, which can work autonomously.
Vogele Super 1603-1
Under model number 1603-1, the enterprise produced a universal use unit. It is suitable for laying asphalt concrete on streets, sidewalks, adjacent areas, as well as on highways and multi-lane routes.
The working equipment can be supplied in several variants. As a rule, the most popular among road construction companies is the model with a smoothing plate equipped with electric heating and a vibrating device of bar-type for tamping. In addition, it is possible to install special strips to improve the seal. Together with the slab, the customer is supplied with a separate set of widgets measuring up to 6.5 meters. The model 1603-1 allows for a broadening up to 8 meters. All attachments can be purchased separately from authorized Vogele representatives. The asphalt paver is equipped with a bunker containing about 13 tons of the finished mixture. With the help of hydraulic cylinders, sidewalls are added, which allows to ensure full consumption of the material.
Vogele Super 1800-2
Crawler asphalt paver 1800-2 is used for larger scale works than version 1600-2. There are applications for small areas, as well as for building bicycle paths. Thanks to caterpillar running equipment, the machine has the best stability among the entire Vogele line. Asphalt paver is easy to maintain and manage, it is famous for its reliability and economy at high productivity. It can even be used as an autonomous complex without involving additional workers.
The maximum width of the paving surface can be up to 9 meters. The thickness of the layer varies from 3 to 30 cm. The width of the machine in the transport position is 2.55 m, due to this it can be transported with a trailer without additional permits, which are given out for oversized cargo.
Vogele Super 1900-2
Model 1900-2 belongs to the class of heavy equipment. This Vogele paver, whose technical characteristics exceed the parameters of similar machines of competitors, it is not equal when laying the roadway. With the help of the hydraulic drive, the plate for leveling the cover is expanded, which can form a strip of 6 meters in just one pass. With the use of broadening devices, this figure can increase to 8.5 m. Additionally, three types of plates with a working size of 8.5 can be supplied; 9.0 and 10 meters respectively. The rigidity of the structure is ensured by a system of tubular section guides.
Control
The main task of electronic systems is the creation of a project profile of the roadway with observance of all technology requirements. The 1900-2 uses two types of control systems: analog and digital.
The first are needed to set the base surface using a copier string, which was previously exposed by the survey team. A special probe, sliding on this string, sends signals to the controller about possible deviations. Depending on the data received, the trajectory along which the Vogele asphalt paver moves is changing. The characteristics of the sensors may differ depending on the result to be obtained.
The digital system uses ultrasonic and laser sensors that measure the height of a point. Parameters are preloaded into the machine control unit. All data are preliminary agreed with the chief engineer and the survey team. This is necessary in order to reduce the work of the latter, as well as to improve the accuracy of the project.
Transportation and distribution of materials
The capacity of the bunker is 14 tons. At the same time, a special damper is provided for performing maintenance work on the machine. Repair of Vogele asphalt pavers can be performed directly on the construction site. In doing so, remove the whole node and change it to a new one. This method of repair significantly saves time, thereby reducing machine downtime.
To prevent mechanical damage to the bunker, there is a cushioning shaft, into which the dump board rests against unloading.
Screw augers, necessary for uniform distribution of the mixture, allow the replacement of the working blades and are set in height relative to the auger supports.
Advantages and disadvantages
The Super line machines are presented in the form of 13 mechanisms. The unit is able to form a strip with a width of 1.8 to 16 m, the productivity of the Vogele paver varies from 200 to 1500 t / h.
The technique can simultaneously carry out the laying of the coating, and also distribute the asphalt-concrete mixture over the entire width of the future road, after which it is compacted.
The main disadvantage of Vogele's working equipment is the very high cost of the units. Repair of one machine costs several times more than the same type of work performed on domestic machines.
Cost of Vogele
In the market of road-building machinery, Vogele machines are in great demand. Buy asphalt paver at quite a variety of prices, it all depends on the technical condition, as well as the degree of operating time. The minimum price on the secondary market for the unit in 2006 may be equal to 5.5 million rubles.
If it is a question of the new equipment, then for the technology of the 2013 release it is asked from 19 million. A completely new car will cost more than 20 million rubles.
Many road companies that do not have enough funds to buy an asphalt paver take it out for rent. On average, this costs 3,750 rubles per working hour, or 30,000 rubles per shift. Despite such a high cost, cars are popular. In return, the enterprise receives reliable equipment with very high productivity.
