Vegetable proteins and animals ... Why do they need the body?

Beauty begins, first of all, with health. And the basis of good health is a balanced diet and reasonable physical activity. In the daily menu must be present those products that saturate our body with energy and give the necessary substances for proper functioning (vitamins, minerals, acids, etc.). Proteins, fats and carbohydrates form the basis of all life. Without them, we could not do without.

The most significant for humans are foods that contain protein. Moreover, it is not only meat and fish, but also other products rich in such useful substance. Why do we need it? The fact is that this is the main part of any cell of our body, metabolic processes are constantly occurring in the body (we get food from animals and vegetable proteins that participate in the synthesis of the protein of our tissues and organs that are constantly being updated). Simply put, these are the "organic blocks" of our body, without which the process of organ aging would accelerate. They are necessary for the proper development of children, so in the children's diet they must be present daily (up to 35 grams). For adults, however, vegetable proteins or animal proteins should be included in the menu in quantities of 50-60 grams.

Animal proteins are considered complete proteins, that is, they contain a full set of essential amino acids, digested by the body. This kind of protein is found in meat, poultry, eggs and fish, dairy and fermented milk products. Vegetable proteins are incomplete proteins, because they do not contain any one or several amino acids. For a full-fledged development of the body, you must consume either both varieties of protein foods, or combine different variants of plant food rich in this substance. It is especially important to make a daily menu for vegetarians. To find out which of the types of food contain those or other amino acids, you must either look through the encyclopedia, or consult a specialist.

Vegetable proteins are contained in legumes (this is soy and soy milk, beans, peas, lentils), some cereals, vegetables and fruits, sunflower seeds and pumpkins, nuts and tofu cheese. The advantage of consuming proteins of vegetable origin (provided that all amino acids are correctly combined) is the opportunity to avoid such health problems as cardiovascular diseases, kidney and gastrointestinal diseases, etc. Doctors explain this by the low intensity of absorption and decay of proteins.

Using sources containing vegetable proteins as food, it is possible to refuse the use of products of animal origin, if a person adheres to the principles of vegetarianism or simply doubts the quality of a food product. It is not recommended to do this only to pregnant women and children under the age of 14, when the body needs all kinds of amino acids. However, everything should be in moderation, the abuse of such food can have negative consequences (in the same way as fatty or carbohydrate).
