Valery Veniaminovich is a native of Belarus. After the successful completion of the general education school, he entered the Institute of Geological Intelligence of the city of Moscow, and in 1980 completed training, qualified as a "mining engineer". The second higher education Valery Gayevsky receives in the specialty of "finance and credit", studying at the Stavropol State University at the Faculty of Economics.

Career

His future work began as a politician from a student's bench, earning money at the Institute of Geological Intelligence of Moscow. Two years later, Valery Gayevsky became the Minister for Financial Affairs of the Stavropol region and until 2001 he worked as the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the native land. After the reorganization of the government branch, he takes office as the regional minister of economic development and trade. In addition, Gaevsky successfully combines this post, being also the vice-president of the government (until 2005).

He then becomes Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Southern Federal District and works in Rostov-on-Don from February 2006 to November 2007. At the end of this period, V. Gaevsky is transferred to the capital, where he becomes an assistant to the Minister of Regional Development.

On May 16, 2008, the President of the Russian Federation signed a decree "On Early Termination of the Authority of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory" Alexander Chernogorov and the appointment of V. Gaevsky, acting temporarily as his acting. Within a week, his candidacy was approved by deputies at an extraordinary meeting of the State Duma of the Stavropol Territory, and Gaevsky becomes the plenipotentiary governor of his region. Valery Gayevsky is the father of three children. His wife - Gaevskaya Olga Vladimirovna (nee Novikova) by education doctor, but currently does not work in the specialty.
