In 1922 a new educational institution appeared in Kazan. He was named Kazan Institute of Agriculture and Forestry. He appeared from the institute, which is a part of Kazan State University. The university is located in the center of the city on Karl Marx street.

Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering

The Civil Engineering University (Kazan) was founded in 1889. At that time, it taught in two types of specialties. The first allowed the state to get people with education in the field of chemistry, the other - with technical and building skills. In the future, this higher educational institution has changed its name more than once, new faculties have taken under their wing, and in 1995 it stopped on the current name.

Kazan State Medical University

Another higher educational institution, which is located in Kazan, deserves special attention. This is a university that prepares future doctors and pharmacists. However, this institution is aimed at replenishing the ranks of doctors.

Also on the basis of this educational institution, retraining of doctors and nursing personnel is conducted. For most specialties a longer period is envisaged than, say, for technical or human sciences.
