The Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps in St. Petersburg is the first educational institution of its kind in the modern history of Russia. For 20 years of existence, the CICC has become one of the leaders in terms of preparing future sailors and patriots of the Motherland.

History of creation

The Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps was established in 1995 by Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who was then the vice mayor of St. Petersburg, Anatoly Alexandrovich Sobchak, the mayor of the city, and Igor Vladimirovich Kasatonov, the first deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Navy. The birthday of the corps was a landmark date for thousands of students and graduates on 22.11.1995.

The Kronstadt naval cadet corps is located in four military towns in the city of Kronstadt with a total area of 8.32 hectares. The educational-material base corresponds to all the requirements for a general educational institution. Educational base

The necessary training and laboratory facilities are provided for the conduct of training sessions. The Kronstadt naval cadet corps has 28 training classes, 24 classrooms. Of them:

The chemistry, physics and biology classrooms have laboratories equipped with modern equipment. To conduct lessons of work and circle work, a carpentry workshop and a modeling workshop are used. Assembly Hall for 200 people allows you to conduct general events.

Sports facilities

Despite the rapid development of the Internet, books remain the basis for a full-fledged acquisition of knowledge. The Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps has an excellent library with a reading room with 50 seats. Currently, the library of the CICC from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation consists of 24,524 copies of books, of which 23,097 copies are textbooks. The basic fund is 1427 copies. Over the past year, the library fund has increased significantly.

Life

The CICC provides children with all the necessary conditions for a 24-hour stay. On the territory of the building there is a large dining room, which allows simultaneous meals for all students and teachers. If necessary, medical care will be provided at your own medical center with a 10-bed infirmary. The equipment of the dormitory rooms of the pupils corresponds to the requirements of SanPiN and the Charter of the internal service of the RF Armed Forces.

Organization of the educational process

The educational process in the building is regulated by the corresponding program, curriculum and the schedule of classes. Training is conducted from the fifth to the eleventh classes. The curriculum, implemented in the building, determines the following areas of the team:

• Implementation of educational programs of general basic, as well as general secondary education (profile level);
• Improving the quality of education by attracting highly qualified specialists, expanding the range of educational services, introducing effective pedagogical technologies;
• Granting the possibility of receiving pupils a wide range of non-core additional education;
• Competence approach, providing a variety of levels, the variability of the proposed curricula.

Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps: how to enter

A feature of the CICC in admission to training is the orientation towards children who are in a difficult life situation or living in remote regions. Priority candidates for admission are:

• Orphans;
• Children left without guardians;
• Children whose parents serve in remote garrisons;
• Children of military contract servicemen or those who have been dismissed to the reserve with a total length of service of 20 years or more;
• Children of heroes of the USSR and the Russian Federation;
• Children of servicemen, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other services, who died fulfilling their duty.

At the same time, all future cadets should be fit for health reasons, have the appropriate level of education and apply.

The application and documents can be sent by post (address: 197760, Kronstadt, Zosimova, 15) until June 1 or personally (the admission committee works on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00). The package of documents is extensive. The papers are usually sent (certified) by the directors of the establishments where the candidates were previously educated (lived), or by the commanders of the units where the parents serve.

Psychological support service

In order to ensure social adaptation and operational coordination of the activities of students and teachers, the order of the director of the corps formed an out-of-order social and psychological service. It includes pedagogical psychologists of the educational department and a methodologist for social work in the department of the educational work of the corps.

The creation of an abnormal socio-psychological service made it possible to ensure the coordinated activity of all the participants in the pedagogical process in pedagogical support of the social adaptation of the new set and the promptness of making decisions on problematic issues, to combine the efforts of the teachers' team in solving specific practical problems.
