Unidentified network: solving the problem

Almost every operating system periodically has errors that developers can fix right away, but only when creating a new service pack. One of these problems is the unidentified network. It arises in home Internet users on computers where such systems as Windows 7, Vista are installed and leads to the inability to provide access to common files, as well as installation of third-party equipment when an Internet network is detected.

Diagnostics

In the event that an unidentified network appears without access to the network, it is first necessary to determine whether the person will be able to solve the problem.

Initially, it is worth checking the connection and operation of the router. Be sure to check the cable connection from all sides. It should be ensured that the cable connector is fully inserted into the equipment until it clicks. And also if possible, check the integrity of all cables.

Then, the network adapter is tested . Sometimes there is a situation where a unique static IP address is completely lost. If the provider has requested to enter this address, then you should contact the helpdesk, because in this case the unidentified network originates on the part of the provider. Here you can not do without the help of tech support.

Steps to cope with such a problem as an unidentified network of Windows 7

In order to remove an unidentified network, you should use a reboot, and then reconnect. In some situations, this method is the only one that makes it possible to access the Internet. The appearance of such a network in the connection folder leads to the impossibility of making a connection.

Sometimes you need to go to the device manager. To do this, in the menu properties called "My Computer", find the "Hardware" tab. Next, you need to find a network card and turn it off. This procedure is repeated continuously after each reboot of the equipment.

An unrecognized network can be fixed in the administrator account via the Adobe program. To do this, it is necessary to find out whether the components of this program are present on the computer. This can be done through the "Add or Remove Programs" item, which is located in the control panel. Then you should open the Bonjour folder and check if there are mDNSResponder.exe files and, of course, mdnsnsp.dll. They are also installed by Adobe to monitor the client, and removing them can lead to negative problems. If there are any, then you should select them and press the combination Shift + Delete. Then open the command line and enter mDNSResponder - remove. Then you should open Bonjour and rename these two files.

The final step is to restart the computer and delete the above directory. Then, run the netsh winsock reset command line and restart the PC again. And, most likely, the unidentified network will no longer interfere with the work.

The extreme measure can be a hardware reset of the router, which is carried out using a clip of straightened or thin wire. First there is a hole with the inscription "reset". Then the end of the wire is inserted and the reset button is pressed. It should be kept pressed for 5 seconds, and then released. In the event that the network work was restored, the problem was related to the incorrect operation of the router.

In the event that the above actions did not help determine the network, the installation of the network card driver that is used to connect to the Internet can help. In order to obtain a new version of the driver, you need access to a computer that has a stable connection to the Internet. The latest version of the driver is on the official website of the manufacturer. If there are difficulties with finding a suitable driver, then you can use the built-in recovery system.
