Winery "Divnomorskoe Manor": assortment of wines, reviews

In Russia, there is no better place for winemaking than the Krasnodar Territory, generously endowed by nature with an abundance of sun and heat, a mild climate and wonderful air saturated with phytoncids.

In the village of Divnomorskoe, which is part of the resort zone of Greater Gelendzhik, on the Black Sea coast there are the southernmost on the territory of the Kuban picturesque vineyards and winery enterprise "Usadba Divnomorskoe". Terroir is unique: vineyards are located on the seashore, surrounded by boron of the famous Pitsunda pine on a vast stony plateau, sunny and hot, blown by a fresh sea wind.

Winery Divnomorskoe: description

The winery occupies about 30 hectares. The base for wine is created by 15 classic varieties of grapes. White grades ("Eastern slope"): vion, gevurtztraminer, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot blanc, Saperavi, Sauvignon blanc, Muscat. Red varieties ("Western slope"): Marseille, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syra. The wine "Divnomorskoe Manor", a protected geographical name, is made from berries collected from the Rauscedo kennel brought from Italy.

The winery is built of environmentally friendly materials, mainly wood, and equipped with modern equipment. It is located near the vineyards, organically inscribed in the landscape, being partially recessed in the mountainside.

The natural and climatic conditions of the village Divnomorskoe

All experts-enologists (specialists in wine technology, evaluating vineyards, samples of water, soil and wine) agree that the characteristics of the terroir contribute to the creation of wines with a unique, rich and bright pattern.

In Divnomorsky, although the hottest on the entire coast, but a mild climate, there is little precipitation here. Stony soils with a lot of limestone, marl and rubble in their composition are ideal for placing vineyards. The dryness of the soil stimulates the grape bushes to develop a powerful root system and protects the roots from the causative agents of various diseases.

Pine forest, stretching from Divnomorsky for many kilometers in the direction of Dzhanhot, creates a shield that naturally protects vineyards from piercing winds from the mountains. Unique properties of the grapes yield winds blowing from the sea. They harden the vines, ensuring a constant airing of the vine bushes with sea air.

In the winery area there are no industrial facilities, so the ecological situation here is also favorable.

Features of the technology of wine production

The terrain on which the vineyards are located is such that all work on them has to be done manually. The vines are planted on the slope, which is breaking to the sea, only a person can get to them.

To fill the lack of moisture in dry times, the vineyards are equipped with a drip irrigation system. The production facilities of the state-of-the-art winery use the latest technologies and equipment.

To prevent oxidation of wine materials and the development of microflora on their surface during long-term storage, inert gas, nitrogen, is used in production tanks. Pressed grapes on the line of acceptance with the help of vacuum membrane presses, then enters the closed stationary tanks of huge size from stainless steel. The process of vinification is hidden from prying eyes, it occurs in vats of different volumes under the strict supervision of the workers of the winery. In barrels from the French and Caucasian oak, the organoleptic characteristics of the drink develop. A special room is equipped for withering grapes.

A distinctive feature of the production of white wines is that they can not be kept in oak barrels.
