Types of leadership and their characteristics

Leadership is a vital attitude. It is inherent in people who are able to manage their own time. The leader is constantly engaged in self-development, embodies his ideas, organizes the work of other people. There are different types of leadership, consider them below.

The leader-organizer is different in that he perceives the needs of the team as his own, actively participates in the life of the team. This person is full of optimism, he just believes that most problems are easily solved. People follow him without a doubt, since he inspires them with confidence. The collective is convinced that their leader can only offer really worthwhile ideas and actions. This person does not just lead the organization, he can point out to any of his team for his mistakes, and the perpetrator will not even be offended. He, on the contrary, will try to work better and more efficiently. Practically in any collective there are such informal leaders.

The leader-creator can see new ideas. Always takes up problems that for others seem insoluble, and sometimes even dangerous. This person will not command, force for anything. He will invite to the discussion, prompt, show the idea from such a side that it will attract listeners.

We continue to consider the types of leadership. A fighter - he is always confident in himself. This is a man with a strong will. Leader bravely goes to meet uncertainty, danger, confidently enters the fight for his idea. A negative feature of such a person is that he does not have enough time to think about each step first, he strives to do everything quickly.

The leader-diplomat is the genius of the negotiations. If such a person uses his abilities and knowledge for evil, then he can easily be called an ass of intrigue. He is always aware of everything, he knows the situation, all the hidden details, gossip and gossip. This information gives him the opportunity to influence each person in a certain way. He prefers to organize personal meetings or negotiations in the circle of like-minded people. If he feels that his plans are in danger, he can distract the attention of influential people to another object. He will make a great leader, if he will use decent ways to influence the team.

What other types of leadership exist? Comforter - ready to help anyone in a difficult moment. To him, people stretch, because they feel that he will not give them offense. Such a person is polite, capable of empathy, and is alert.

There are also types of political leadership. There are democratic and authoritarian leaders who subdivide them into these categories depending on how they treat their subordinates. On the scale of leadership can be distinguished party, class, national leaders. Modern political science identifies the following types of leadership:

1. Leader-standard-bearer - the head in a special way sees the reality. He represents the ideal leader for the masses. People with great pleasure follow the path indicated by him.

2. The leader-servant - is guided by the wishes and needs of his people. Acts always on behalf of their constituents.

3. A leader-trader is a leader who can profitably "sell" his ideas. Voters immediately see the advantage of this candidate over others.

4. Leader-fireman - he is focused on the urgent and urgent problems of the masses. This leader is always ready to solve specific situations, it is up to him to find out about them.

Clean images among the leaders usually do not occur. Each manager combines 2-3 characteristics simultaneously, but in different proportions. Thus, the leadership typology given above can not be treated in a pure form to any particular person. Historical facts confirm that initially a charismatic leader can gradually turn into a hated tyrant and dictator.
