Treatment of warts

Warts appear on the skin as a result of the influence on the cells of the papilloma virus, which forces them to multiply actively. The disease enters the body of a healthy person even through minor micro-trauma. To a healthy person, an ailment is transmitted through a patient with papilloma and his personal belongings, as well as animals. The virus can "live" on the handrails of public transport, door handles, swimming pools, toilets, gyms, etc. Non-observance of the simplest rules of personal hygiene can also lead to the development of the disease. Treatment of warts must begin immediately immediately after their detection.

From the moment of infection with the virus and before the appearance of the first signs of the disease can go from four to six months. Condylomas not only cause cosmetic discomfort, they are capable of causing certain harm to the body with little mechanical effect. That is why the treatment of warts should be done in a timely manner.

The place of dislocation of neoplasms can be the most diverse: face, hands, fingers, hands, legs, mucous, feet, genitals, oral cavity. Condylomas are of several types: multiple, single. Also, neoplasms can be combined into infected heaps, fusing together.

It is recommended to start treatment of warts as early as possible if the following problems exist:

  • The neoplasm causes pain;
  • A wart is a cosmetic defect;
  • When the size, shape and color of condyloma change;
  • If neoplasms actively multiply on the body.

Treatment for warts should not be done on your own, as with illiterate removal it is possible to put an infection in the blood. And this will cause an increase in genital warts throughout the body.

Today in medicine, the treatment of warts with liquid nitrogen has become very popular . This relatively new method allows almost painless removal of the tumor with the help of a low temperature, which provokes the death of condyloma due to its deep freezing. Removal of liquid nitrogen is carried out using a special applicator. The wart is treated, after which a spatula with an active substance is applied to it under slight pressure. Usually the freezing time takes no more than thirty seconds. As a result, the wart begins to gradually pale, and then becomes completely dense and white at all. A minute after freezing, swelling and hyperemia occur on the burning site, and a few hours later - an epidermal bladder with hemorrhagic or serous contents that lasts for about five days on the skin. It gradually decreases in size, and in its place there is a dense crust. After 10 days, it is torn off, leaving a pink, low-noticeable spot. Typically, the procedure is repeated three to five times with an interval of 5 days.

Flat warts are most common in young people and children. They slightly rise above the surface of the skin and have a rounded shape. The size of such condylomas is from 5 to 8 millimeters, color - from corporal to yellowish-brown. Warts can appear both in solitary and plural. Usually neoplasms are formed when immunity is weakened. The incubation period lasts a couple of months. Flat warts provoke the itching of the skin, forcing a person to comb the condylomas. Herniation of neoplasms is not observed.
