Autobots and Decepticons, which have long captivated the toy stores, for a long time and took the screens of theaters with the release of the first film "Transformers". The names of robots, such as Optimus Prime and Megatron, are also known as Harry Potter and Volan de Mort. Cars that are actually aliens, turning into humanoid creatures, fell in favor of the audience. And the yellow Chevrolet Camaro named Bumblebee and at all became a favorite of many.

Very soon, the fifth part of the film series will appear on the screens, it's time to revise the previous parts. Do you know what the characters of Transformers look like? A little about the film itself

"The era of extermination" sets the movie series a new direction. After the invasion of Chicago, the Autobots fell out of favor. The film touches on the topic of the deteriorated relationship "people / transformers". The names of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and the team are known throughout the world, because these are the names of dangerous creatures.

It is noteworthy that the "Epoch of Extermination" touches on the diverse mythology of transformers, the plot covers a much larger number of events than the first three films that were built exclusively on the battle of the Autobots against the Decepticons. There is a new subspecies - dinobots - another proof that the team of the film seriously intended to depart from the previous storyline.

Autobot names

Optimus Prime is a wise and formidable leader of the Autobots. At the beginning of the film, it appears in the form of a rusted, crippled Marmon truck, but later it transforms into a Western Star 4900 main tractor.

Bumblebee. From the very beginning, he was a faithful assistant to Optimus Prime and a defender of humanity. Despite the damaged voice module, Bumblebee communicates actively, switching radio stations and selecting the right songs. Initially, in the film, it appears in the form of the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, and then it becomes a brilliant Camaro 2014.

Ratchet. By nature, he is not a fighter, but is a valuable member of the team - a physician. He decides to stand on the side of the Autobots, because he feels that they have all chances to reach the world - the only thing that really interests him. It is transformed into a rescue SUV Hummer H2, which once again shows its peace-loving attitude.

Hound. A caricature character who, despite its frightening appearance, likes to call the Earth his home and how the child enjoys simple things. In the film, he looks like a heavily armed artilleryman with a robotic beard and love to use cartridges as cigars. Its mechanized appearance is a tactical car Oshkosh.

Crosshairs is a master in arms, a paratrooper. Comes to replace the dead in the third part of the movie Ironhead. Crosshaires is not a big fan of the Earth and on occasion does not mind leaving it. Transforms into the Chevrolet C7 Corvette in 2014.

Drift. Originally was on the side of the Decepticons, but after he turned to the Autobots. In the film, he appears in the image of a calm samurai, skillfully owning swords and almost unmatched. It transforms into the stunning Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse 2013 and likes to podriftovat on the streets of the city.

Brains. A little robot, like a mad scientist. Transforms into a laptop, but rarely appears in this image. Like Drift used to be on the Decepticons side, but realizing his mistake (or tired of constant pressure), he switched to the Autobots. The film is captivated by people, with the aim of hacking the genome of the Autobots.

Decepticon names

Caution, the following list may contain spoilers!

Galvatron. One of the few transformers in the "Age of Extermination", which is not the creation of Cybertron. It was created by people, as a replacement for the Autobots and the protector of the Earth. Well armed, but embittered and becoming the new leader of the Decepticons. It is being transformed into a Freytliner Argosy tractor of 2014 similar to Optimus.

Stinger. Also, like Galvatron, is not the creation of Cybertron. He is considered the main rival of Bumblebee. He is not afraid to fight against the dinobots. In the moments when he does not attempt to destroy the Autobots, he travels along the roads, disguised as Pagani Huayra 2013.

Jankhip. A Decepticon soldier whose sole purpose is to fight the Autobots. It is transformed into a garbage truck.

Lockdown. Despite the fact that he is on the Decepticons list, technically Lockdown is not a part of either side. He is a ruthless intergalactic bounty hunter, who was hired to track down one of their Autobots hiding on Earth. Who hired him and whom he hunts is not revealed. Transforms into the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador.

Names of dinobots

Grimlock . The rugged leader of the dinobots. He does not like to listen to anyone, including Optimus Prime. More bosses hate Decepticons. It turns into a powerful metal Tyrannosaurus-Rex.

Skorn . Chief in the destruction of the team of dinobots. And this applies not only to his duties in the group, but also to his character. A deadly opponent in the form of a robot, in the guise of a Spinoza, becomes even more dangerous.

Slug. He considers himself second after Grimlock. A brutal fighter that blows everything in its path. When not arguing with Grimlock in the guise of a robot, it transforms into a powerful mechanical Triceratops.

Straff . Chief in the air in the guise of an incredibly powerful Pteranodon.

Slash . Cunning hunter Velociraptops, partner of Hound.

Some of the robots had only a couple of seconds of screen time, someone won a significant share of the plot, but thanks to the team's efforts, each of them - and Autobots, and Deceptibles and Dinobots, on the screen look amazingly detailed and impressively powerful.
