Analysis of Lermontov's poem "Parus"

Moral and full of inner feelings monologue - all this poems by Lermontov. "Sail" since 1832 excites the cultural society. An analysis of the poem by Lermontov shows that only 12 lines can be hidden so much for reflection. Moreover, the work is one of the riches of the Russian treasury of creations.

In order to analyze Lermontov's poem "Parus", one should turn to its origins. Why was it written? Where?

Faced with difficulties in graduation, Mikhail Yurievich was left without the opportunity to continue his studies in St. Petersburg. And, walking on the outskirts of the city, he often spent time at the Gulf of Finland. It was here that this magnificent work was born.

"Parus" consists of three quatrains. The first two lines of each of them describe the sea and the sail, and the last two - Lermontov's thoughts on this matter. The general idea of the work is the existence of a person in a vast world, which is represented as a calm and measured ("a jet of light azure"), and the changes and disturbances that accompany us through life ("the waves play - the wind whistles"). In this case, a man is a sail that floats on the sea (wanders around the world).

An analysis of the poem by Lermontov shows that the "sail" is not entirely satisfied with its life ("And he, rebellious, asks for storms"), although she is favorable to him ("Above him is the golden ray of the sun"). Sail does not want peace and tranquility, he craves for impressions and saturation.

To increase the expressiveness of the poem, Lermontov uses synonyms, anaphors, repetitions. And the verb gives the dynamics to the work. In addition, the presence of ellipses allows us to perceive the work not as a description of the landscape, but as carrying a psychological sense.

An analysis of the poem by Lermontov reveals that there is no direct indication that the poet imposes his image on the sail, but this connection can be traced with the naked eye. The poet also showed very clearly that the sail is an eternal wanderer ("What does he seek in the distant country? What he threw at the edge of his native land?), Whose whole path is accompanied by loneliness (" The lonely sail is white ").

Such an easy and short work carries such a profound meaning! The poem is permeated with the theme of freedom, although the author never used the word even once. Free, but at the same time infinitely lonely, the sail floats along the boundless sea and wants to find at least a drop of worry - this is what opens the analysis of the poem Lermontov. The sail, like the poet himself, tries to find the meaning of life, some higher goal that will give it its existence of significance.

Mikhail Yuryevich's poetry can not be confused with any other. It is characterized by subtlety, elegance, filling the reader's soul with harmony. Creativity Lermontov can not leave indifferent.

An analysis of Lermontov's poem "Parus" showed that connoisseurs of true poetry can not, so to say, "pass by". The poet in 12 lines expressed hopes, hopes, thoughts and persecution of the youth of his time. This is true to this day. Throughout his life, almost every one of us tries to find himself, rushes from one to the other and tries to understand the meaning of life.
