Throwing grenades: technique and rules

Throwing grenades is a common exercise in athletics. Especially when passing standards in the school or the army. Popularity is the exercise received in recent years, thanks to the return in Russia of the massive surrender of the TRP standards "Ready for work and defense."

There are several ways of throwing training grenades. One of the most common of these is throwing grenades at a range. This is done by taking off or from the place, at the discretion of the judges and organizers of the competitions and passing the standards.

The shell is a training grenade, the weight of which is 600 grams. Each participant has three attempts. If you are doing this exercise in the army, then special requirements will be to form. The form must be field with an automatic device in hand. At the same time, some allowances are allowed - an unbuttoned collar or a slightly weakened belt on the belt is allowed. How to set the results?

A throw is counted only if the pomegranate fell within the corridor, without flying out across the width. In this case, the senior referee gives the command: "Yes", and the result of the athlete is recorded in the protocol. One more condition - the participant should not break the rules when making the throw, for example, do not go beyond the runway, do not cross the line.

Also, the Chief Judge raises the flag. Thus, he gives the command to the judge-meter to fix the result. It produces a special measurement.

An attempt does not count if the athlete violates one of the rules: it affects any part of the body or outfits of the space below the line. And all the same at the time of the throw or immediately after it. It comes on the bar itself or touches it.

The trail left by the grenade, which fell into the corridor, is marked with a peg. Measurement of the result of the athlete is carried out using a roulette. The accuracy is set to a centimeter.

Measurements are not made immediately, but only after all three shots are completed. The best result is recorded in the competition protocol.

If two or more athletes show the same results, then they are considered to have shared seats among themselves. Exception from this rule only when determining the winner. If several athletes claim the victory with the same indicators, they are granted additional three shots.

Throwing grenades at accuracy

The throwing of grenades in this way is also made from a take-off or from a place. At a distance of 40 meters from the thrower there are 3 circles. In the central to get the most difficult - its diameter is only half a meter, for and is estimated this hit the highest score.

The radius of the second circle is one and a half meters, and the third two and a half. The main goal of the athlete is to get to the very center of the target, in which a red flag is set at an altitude of 30 centimeters from the ground. In order to get into the target, the participant is given many more attempts. Three only trial and 15 shots in the standings. Thus the sportsman is limited in time. It can train no more than a minute, and throw throwing rolls for a maximum of 6 minutes.

Evaluation of shots

The throwing of grenades at the target is evaluated by a judge who is in close proximity to the target. After each attempt, he assesses the accuracy of the hit and raises the appropriate plate, also duplicates this information with a voice. Only after the score is assessed for the throw, it is allowed to throw the next grenade.

Hit in each section of the target is estimated by a different number of points. For the grenade in the central circle, the athlete will receive 115 points, for getting into the second round of 75 points and, finally, for getting into the third - 45 points.

If the grenade hit the checkbox set in the center of the target, then there are no extra points for it. The athlete will receive 115 points.

Winners are determined both in the personal and in the team championship.

Technique of throwing

The first rule you need to know is that the grenade throwing technique is correct - how to properly hold the projectile.

It is important to keep the grenade in such a way that the handle of the projectile rests against the base in the athlete's little finger. The little finger at this time should be bent and pressed as hard as possible to the palm of your hand. The rest of the fingers should tightly cover the handle of the grenade.

Another important point, the location of the thumb. It can be both along the axis of the projectile, and across it.

Exercise for throwing

In order to master the training of throwing grenades, experts advise to perform certain exercises.

First. Stand in the standard rack - feet shoulder width apart. Hand in which you hold a grenade, bring it over your shoulder. Imitate the throw, alternately straightening the arms forward and up. So at least 9-10 times.

The next exercise. The starting position, too. A training grenade for training time can be replaced by a ball. Throw the ball to the floor and catch after the rebound. Exercise repeat at least 10-15 times.

The last tip. Perform a similar exercise with the ball rebound, but from the wall, and then from the target, also drawn on the wall. In this case, try to get as close to the center as possible. Throws take from a distance of 5-6 meters.

The rules for throwing grenades are not too complicated, but to achieve the best results, it is important to know some secrets.

High performance is demonstrated by athletes who choose the best way to capture the projectile. And it depends on the individual characteristics of the competitor. They are several - the length of the fingers, the strength of the hands, the mobility of the joints.

The most important thing is to guarantee reliable fixation of the grenade at the moment when the athlete is preparing to throw. At the same time, it is important to increase the lever so that the center of gravity of your projectile is as high as possible in the hand of the thrower.

Race athlete

An important element in the implementation of this element of delivery of the TRP standards is the athlete's run-up before throwing a grenade. In order to prepare for this final effort, there are two ways. The decisive element before the throw is to properly remove the projectile.

Knowing these little tricks you can achieve good results by performing a throwing grenade. The technique of performing the first method is to take the projectile straight back.

The second way of throwing is to take the projectile along the arc first forward, then down and at the end sharply back.

So, in order to correctly carry out the throwing of grenades, the standards are all to be met, you need to follow the instructions clearly.

We start with the preliminary take-off. It is necessary to gain the optimum speed in order to approach the reference mark in the optimal form. It is best if the take-off is 10-12 wide half-steps-half-jumps. The scope for grenade discharge is recommended to start by placing the left foot on the bar.

Before the cast, the two decisive steps are a cross step and putting the foot in the stop position.

After the foot is put in the stop, the braking of the foot and shin begins, and the pelvis continues to move forward. At this time, the right leg of the athlete straightens at the knee joint, the hip joint is pushed forward and upward.

The next stage - the athlete draws the left hand far back, while greatly stretching the pectoral muscles. The right arm at this time straightens at the elbow joint. When the right hand brush flies past the head, the elbow joint straightens and the grenade leaves to fly to the right athlete to achieve the maximum angle result. At the final stage, the brush is executed with a bumpy throw and a grenade, finally, comes off by hand.

Now it's important to brake so as not to cross the line and the attempt was scored. To keep on doing this on the legs, you need to skip the athlete from the supporting left leg to the right one. The left leg is best set back and leans forward slightly. Then straighten up sharply, take your shoulders back, while helping yourself with your hands.

It is important to brake in time and guaranteed not to cross the line, the left foot should start to stop for a half to two meters to the line of throw. This can be done and closer, but it depends on the qualification of the athlete and the speed, which he scored while taking a run.
