2. A needle breaks while stitching. This is due to the incorrect arrangement of the carriage cone. To repair the sewing machine "Seagull", you need to remove the plywood on the side of the device. To the left is the shuttle mechanism, where the carriage is arranged. It is necessary to release it from the latch and turn the flywheel. The sharp top of the carriage should be slightly higher than the eye of the needle and follow next to it. For correct positioning, unscrew the two bolts on the axis of rotation of the carriage and gently push it towards the needle.

3. Stitch defects on the stitch. The sewing machine "Seagull" can give a weak or tight thread. Adjust the thread with a screw. Other reasons for the weak stitching may be a break in the tension regulator of the upper thread or a slightly twisted nut. To solve this problem, open the cover near the regulator and tighten the nut.

4. When the machine is working, the thread breaks. It is necessary to check the needle plate: it can be deformed, have punctures and irregularities. The carriage can also have burrs. Removed all the marriage by grinding with sandpaper.
