The rules of the game in the "Mafia" - a popular psychological game for large companies

This article briefly and clearly describes the professional rules of the game in the "Mafia" - a popular game for large companies. To start a full party, you need ten participants. The facilitator monitors the progress of the game and regulates its stages. In order to distribute the roles, the presenter gives the cards face down: each player receives one card. The deck consists of 10 cards: three black and seven red. "Reds" are civilians, and "Blacks" are mafia.

One of the red cards differs from the rest - it's Sheriff - the leader of the team "Red". "Black" in turn, too, have their leader - the Don.

The game is divided into changing stages of two types: night and day. The task of the game: "Black" must eliminate the "Red" and vice versa.

Ten players are invited to the table. At the very beginning of the game, the host announces that the "night" has come and all players must, without exception, close their eyes with masks. Then each player, in turn, removes the mask, draws out the card, examines and remembers it, the lead hides the card, and the player puts the mask back on.

Players in armbands should tilt their heads down so that the revival of neighbors or rustle do not become the source of any additional information for them.

After the words of the presenter, "Mafia wakes up," players with black cards and the Don Mafia remove their bandages and get to know each other. It's an exceptional night when the whole mafia opens its eyes. It was given to them to agree on the procedure for eliminating the "Reds" without the help of words. The "contract" should be held very, very quietly, as the "red" participants sitting in the immediate vicinity can feel any movement. When the presenter says that "the mafia falls asleep", the "black" participants wear the bandages back.

The leader informs: "The Don wakes up". The host gets to know Don. The next night Don will open his eyes with a goal to find the Sheriff game. When the presenter reports that "Don falls asleep," Don puts on a bandage.

Then the Sheriff wakes up. This player opens his eyes and meets the Leader. He will regularly wake up and look for the "Blacks." The sheriff falls asleep.

After the Leader and Sheriff meet, the morning comes, when all the players take off their bandages.

So, the first day comes. In the afternoon, there is a discussion. Professional rules of the game in the "Mafia" say that every player has a minute to express their thoughts, ideas and suspicions.

"Red" must identify the "Black" players and eliminate them by voting. And the "Blacks", in turn, must secure themselves an iron alibi and liquidate a sufficient number of "red" participants. "Black" know "who is who", so they are in a better position.

Discussion begins the first player and then on a circle. During the daytime discussion, participants can nominate players (each player - not more than one) in order to remove them from the game. At the end of the discussion, a vote is taken. That candidate, who received more votes, leaves the game.

The game has a term such as "Car crash". This is the situation in which several players scored the same number of votes. In this case, the voter is given the right within thirty seconds to stay in the game. They must justify themselves, convince the players that they are not related to the mafia. There is a re-vote. Since fun is very popular and there are many varieties of the game "Mafia", the rules of the game may not include such situations.

Then back comes night. The presenter, after the words "The Mafia starts hunting," names the numbers of the players one by one, and when the whole mafia at the same number shoots at the same time - the player is struck. The rules of the game in the "Mafia" are such that if one of the mafiosi "shoots" in another number, or does not make a "shot" at all, the Leader determines the slip. "Shooting" occurs by simulating a shot. The host announces again: "The Mafia falls asleep." Players put on masks.

Then the Leader "wakes up" Don, who opens his eyes and tries to determine the Sheriff. He on his fingers shows some number to the Leader, under which, according to his assumptions, the Sheriff is hiding. The Head nods either confirms his version or refutes it. Don falls asleep and wakes up the Sheriff's turn.

The Sheriff wakes up, who also has full right to night checks. He is trying to find the "Black" players. After the Leader answers, the Sheriff player falls asleep, and then the Leader notifies the beginning of the second day.

This and all subsequent circles are repeated, as on the first day. Days and nights will alternate until the victory of a particular team. It is the victory of one of the teams that ends the game "Mafia", the rules of which are very simple, if you follow them.
