We all remember the cellar of my grandmother, where there are so many goodies - canned summer - that the eyes are running and drooling! Times pass, however, habits and established family traditions, secret family recipes remain. On what only modern hostesses will not go to surprise guests and outdo each other! Works of culinary art, filigree work are the pride of each of them, however, not one does not stop there, so every year new and new recipes are born, showing ingenuity and originality. Caviar roe, almost shop, only better - easy! Zucchini, almost like pineapple - easily! And how do you like this recipe: tomatoes in gelatin? Indeed, it is tasty and unusual - a tomato jelly. How to cook such a miracle?

To prepare such miracle tomatoes you will need:

- 2 kg of small tomatoes;

- black pepper and fragrant - three peas;

- 1/2 kg of onions;

- bay leaf, garlic, dill if desired and taste.

To fill, you will need:

- One packet of gelatin (25 g);

- 100 g of granulated sugar;

- 60 g of rock salt;

- 500 ml of water.

At the bottom of the jars, add the spices, and then lay the tomatoes, punctured in several places with a toothpick, and the onion rings. To prepare the marinade, mix all the ingredients, dissolve the gelatin and add to the brine. Marinade boil and fill them with tomatoes. Cover the jars with lids and sterilize on low heat for about 10 minutes. Then plug and store in a cool place.

The second recipe: tomatoes in gelatin

Per liter bank:

- one and a half kilograms of ripe tomatoes;

- 500 g onion;

- 2 laurel leaves;

- black pepper (peas);

- 1000 ml of water;

- 30 g of rock salt;

- 50 g of sugar;

1 teaspoon instant gelatin;

- 1 teaspoon of acetic essence.

Wash tomatoes and let them dry. In the meantime, soak gelatin for 1 hour. If it is instant, it will take 15 minutes. Cut the tomatoes in circles about 1 cm thick. Onions are also cut into rings about 0.5 cm thick. Wash the cans and dry in the oven. Then pour spices on their bottom, and from above, alternating layers, lay tomatoes and onions. From the ingredients listed above, prepare the brine and pour the dissolved gelatin into it. Once again, boil everything. Pour the cans with a marinade and sterilize for about 20 minutes. At the end, add the essence. Closure the lids and put the finished products cool. Keep in a cool place.

The third recipe: tomatoes in gelatin in Latvian

Another original recipe. You will need the following ingredients:

- tomatoes - 1,5 kg;

- Carrots - 0.3 kg;

- 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar;

- 2 tbsp. Spoons of salt;

- 9% vinegar - 1 teaspoon;

- 10 g of instant gelatin;

- 1000 ml of water;

- bay leaf and pepper to taste.

Cut the tomatoes into slices. Carrots grate on a large grater or finely chop. Dissolve the gelatin according to the instructions on the package. Put the tomatoes in the jars. In the boiling marinade, add the gelatin and carrots, cook 5 minutes and fill with brine tomatoes. Sterilize the jars, depending on the volume, from 5 to 20 minutes.

The fourth recipe: tomatoes in gelatin with cucumbers

Your attention is invited to another unusual recipe, for the preparation of which you will need:

- tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, onions;

- 2 liters of water;

- salt - 120 g;

- pepper, bay leaf, dill to taste;

- 200 ml of 9% vinegar;

- 3 tablespoons gelatin per glass of marinade.

At the bottom of the sterilized cans, put the spices, and then lay the layers of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers cut into slices. Prepare the brine and add the dissolved gelatin (the amount is indicated above). Pour marinade vegetables, boil the filled jars and roll them.
