The metabolic diet and the reasons for its popularity

The metabolic diet is a very popular method for losing weight all over the world. It is designed in such a way that within seven days the metabolism of a person is accelerated under the condition of using a strictly limited number of products. This effect is achieved because the basis of this diet are factors that stimulate the hormonal system in such a way that active fat burning begins . Again, it does not accumulate.

The metabolic diet is based on the introduction of changes in the diet, aimed at reducing the synthesis of insulin and estrogen to a minimum level (these hormones often cause the formation and accumulation of fatty deposits). In parallel, this system helps to activate the production of those hormones that contribute to fat burning (testosterone, adrenaline, noradrenaline).

The metabolic diet occupies a special place among other methods aimed at weight reduction, because it is based on three basic provisions. So, it takes into account:

  1. A metabolism that can be mixed, slowed down or fast.
  2. The role played by the main gland in the body (pituitary gland, adrenal glands or thyroid gland).
  3. Features of physiology and possible habits that are peculiar to man.

Note that this method of losing weight is appreciated even by those who suffer from problems with digestion and difficulty in stool. For example, a diet for the intestine has a narrower spectrum of action, while a metabolic pathway helps improve metabolism, which leads to the stabilization of digestion and the work of all internal organs.

Note that before you begin using this technique, you need to determine your weight and the degree of obesity.

The metabolic diet is divided into three stages:

  1. The initial stage is the active burning of fat, which lasts approximately 14 days. If the result is not fully achieved, the stage can be repeated after about 14-21 days. Only "zero" products are allowed (see below).
  2. During the second stage, a stable weight loss should occur. The duration of the stage depends on the desired result. So, the diet should be divided into: breakfast (from 8 to 10 am) - 4 points, second breakfast (from 11 to 12) - 2 points, lunch (from 2 to 3 days) - 2 points, lunch (from 4 to 6 Evening) - 1 point, and dinner (from 6 to 8 pm) - zero points.
  3. The third stage should consolidate the results. Each meal, except dinner, is allowed to add one point each. If weight loss continues, you can add another score.

Metabolic diet, the reviews help to analyze the degree of its effectiveness, also implies compliance with specific recommendations. So, the number of balls in the second stage can not be increased. Breaks between meals that last more than three hours are prohibited. Optimal is the combination of several products to achieve the required score.

The metabolic diet is based on a table containing an indicator of the value of a particular product:

Products that are rated at 0 points:

Chicken and turkey fillet, rabbit, all seafood, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruits, onions, garlic, as well as fiber and protein.

Products that are valued at one point:

Berries, fresh vegetable juices and beans.

2 points can be obtained by eating nuts, seeds, bran bread, cooked beets and carrots, buckwheat, rice and oatmeal, as well as lamb, veal and beef.

Products that are rated at three points:

Millet, black chocolate, hard and melted cheeses, as well as fruit juice.

4 points:

Sweet water, dried fruits, flour products and semolina, sweets, milk chocolate, alcohol and sausages.

The use of this diet does not harm the body and has no contraindications.
