According to the results of the research, the drug "Tsereton" is a safe and highly effective agent intended for the treatment of patients with encephalopathy of various kinds (mixed, posstraumatic, discirculatory). The active substance of the drug "Cereton" is choline alsfocerate. The drug belongs to the category of nootropic drugs.

Characterizing the drug "Tsereton", the instruction indicates its properties to improve blood flow, enhance metabolic processes in the central nervous system. The drug promotes an increase in the linear velocity of blood flow in the area of brain injury, restoration of consciousness, regression of neurological symptoms. The medication has a corrective and preventive effect on pathogenetic factors on the background of involuntary mental syndrome of an organic nature.

The medicine "Tsereton" (instruction for use on this indicates) does not affect the reproductive cycle, does not have mutagenic and teratogenic effects.

The drug is prescribed in the recovery and acute period with severe craniocerebral trauma and ischemic stroke. The "Tsereton" agent recommends using the psycho-organic syndrome accompanying involuntary and degenerative changes in the brain, cognitive disorders (mental disorders , confusion, memory disorders, disorientation and other disorders). In the course of the studies, there was no significant interaction of the "Cereton" drug with other agents.

Cases of drug overdose in practice are not described. Presumptive symptom may be nausea. To ease the condition, symptomatic treatment is recommended.

During the research, the effect of the drug on the speed of the psychomotor reaction and the ability to concentrate attention was not revealed.

The drug should be stored at a temperature of more than twenty-five degrees, in a dark place, no longer than two years.
