The importance of gymnosperms in human life, in nature

Plants related to gymnosperms are the basis of the flora of individual regions of the Earth. They are the lungs of our planet, supplying huge volumes of oxygen and reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide. The nutritional value of gymnosperms lies in the supply of food to birds and rodents.
