Robocop

Robocop or a robot policeman is a fictional character, known to the whole world, included, according to the magazine "The World of Fiction", in the top three "most-most robots". It was his image that marked the beginning of a series of fantastic films of the same name. According to the idea of the authors, it was created on the basis of the human central nervous system of police officer Alex J. Murphy from Detroit, who died while performing the task. The corporation that created it, says that the robot has no consciousness and claims ownership of it. His actions are limited to three main aspects: to abide by the law, protect the innocent and serve society, which echoes the three laws of robotics A. Azimov.

Paul Verhoeven's film

The premiere of the first version of the fantastic action movie, shot by the famous director from the Netherlands, took place in 1987. Robocop (actor Peter Weller) was a great success, won the IFC award, one "Oscar" and two nominations, as well as another 8 prestigious cinematographic awards. The budget of the picture was 13 million dollars, and the box office - 53.4 million. The wide popularity of the film and commercial success led to the creation of sequels (there are now 4 tapes), cartoons, comics, video games, television series, etc.

Completely finished tape in 1987 received an age limit of 18+ because of the abundance of scenes of violence and the amount of blood. This situation practically put an end to the director's rolling expectations, and he went on to remount, reducing the number of cruel moments. The final version had a qualification of 16+. This film can rightly be called "Robocop 1". The actors involved in the project are not so well known to the modern spectator.
