"Tiberal" - a drug related to antiprotozoal medicines, has pronounced antimicrobial properties. Tablets "Tiberal" contain in its composition an active chemical substance ornidazole, due to which the drug shows a special sensitivity to microorganisms such as lamblia, trichomonads, amoeba and other types of anaerobic bacteria.

Antibiotic "Tiberal" is absorbed by the intake of the inside of the digestive tract, the time until the maximum concentration of the drug in the body is about 3 hours. Metabolizing in the liver, the modified drug is excreted by the kidneys and intestines, only 4% of active ornidazole is excreted unchanged. There is a high concentration of medication in many tissues of the body, a large number also enters breast milk.
