The drug 'Nimesulide'. Instructions. Indications, contraindications, side effects.

The drug "Nimesulide" ("Naise") belongs to the group of NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory non-steroid drugs). The medicine is made in the form of usual tablets, tablets of dispersible (high-speed) and for resorption, granules for the preparation of syrup and solution, suspension. The active ingredient is nimesulide.

The drug has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. It reduces pain and inflammation. The medicine does not influence the progression of the pathology.

The drug "Nimesulid" recommends the instruction for arthritis of different nature, osteoarthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis. The medicine is prescribed for acute pain syndrome, for elimination of post-traumatic and post-operative pain, for algodismorrhea, headache and toothache, myalgia, arthralgia. The "Nimesulide" tool recommends the use for symptomatic treatment.

Medication is not prescribed for bronchial asthma, relapsing polyposis in the paranasal sinuses or nose, hypersensitivity, individual intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs (including in the history of the disease). The drug "Nimesulide" instruction does not allow for use in erosive and ulcerative lesions in the digestive system, active gastrointestinal, cerebrovascular and other bleeding. Contraindications include inflammation in the intestines, hemophilia and other disorders of the function of blood clotting. The drug is not prescribed for decompensated heart failure, liver failure or any severe liver pathology. The "Nimesulide" medication is not allowed for use in progressive kidney diseases, if there is a history of hepatotoxic reactions with the use of medication, confirmed hyperkalemia. A remedy is not recommended after coronary artery bypass grafting, with the simultaneous use of hepatotoxic drugs. Contraindications include pregnancy, lactation. Nimesulide is not prescribed for children under the age of twelve.

Medication taken after a meal. The recommended dose is twice a day for fifty or one hundred milligrams.

When using the drug, there may be various side effects. The medicine can cause allergies, anaphylactic reactions, dizziness, Reye's syndrome, drowsiness, headache, nervousness, fear, nightmarish dreams. When taking the drug, there may be increased sweating, angioedema, dermatitis, urticaria, erythema, swelling of the face. Side effects include epidermal necrolysis (toxic), Stevens-Johnson syndrome, itching and rash on the skin. Among the undesirable effects of urinary retention, dysuria, kidney failure, hematuria, interstitial nephritis, oliguria. Often when taking medication, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting occur. The drug can provoke constipation, gastritis, flatulence, tarry stool, stomatitis, epigastric pain. There may also be bleeding in the digestive tract, an ulcer in the stomach or duodenum, cholestasis, jaundice, hepatitis (lightning fast as well). The drug "Nimesulide" in some cases becomes a cause of hemorrhage, purpura, thrombocytopenia, eosinophilia, dyspnea, anemia, exacerbation of asthma, bronchospasm. In rare cases, there may be a violation of vision clarity, tachycardia, lowering of blood pressure, flushing to the face and upper body, hypothermia, general weakness.

Experts do not recommend the use of Nimesulide medication for patients planning pregnancy, due to the drug's ability to negatively affect fertility.

Medication can reduce the rate of psychomotor reactions. Therefore, care should be taken when implementing potentially hazardous activities.
