For children, the dosage of "Ferrum Lek" is recommended by the instruction in accordance with age. So, per day, patients from one year to 12 years of age are prescribed two and a half to five milliliters of suspension. Children from the age of twelve, adults, nursing, pregnant women are recommended to have 5 or 10 ml of the suspension or a tablet per day.

With the use of the drug, the development of adverse reactions is possible. In particular, there may be (in rare cases) a feeling of heaviness, pressure, overflow in the epigastric region, as well as diarrhea, constipation, nausea.
