Syncopeesis is ... Norm and pathology

Movement is life. People walk and run, waving their hands, and can not bend the little finger on their hands, leaving a straight finger ring - the simplest examples of syncopeesis. This is normal, although there are pathologies in this area. Let's talk about this a little.

Sinkiesesia is what?

A lot of movements people do unconsciously. We breathe and blink without special efforts. We can scratch or do something else without even noticing it. There is even a special category of so-called friendly involuntary movements, called synkinesies. This in some cases is absolutely normal, but sometimes it is a pathology. Moreover, it happens that the absence of any movement is abnormal.

Physiological and pathological

Syncopeies are divided into those that are normal for the human body, and those that require attention from the medical profession.

By physiological include, for example, the withdrawal of eyeballs with a sharp screw-up, a distortion of the face with considerable physical effort or waving hands with fast walking or running. These are involuntary movements that we do not notice and sometimes can not even control. Their appearance we owe evolution - so nature helps to learn new skills. This is clearly seen in the example of children: those who, for example, learn to write or draw, often stick out the language "from diligence." After mastering a new skill, this habit goes away, and this is perfectly normal.

But it happens that such "additions" are signs of any violations or a consequence of insufficient development of some parts of the body. Pathological syncopeesis often accompanies speech therapy problems in preschool children, can develop after paralysis and other types of damage to the nervous system.

Causes

Syncopeesis is always one or another of the problems with the central nervous system, the conductivity of the nerve pathways. The most obvious example is, for example, the Gunn symptom. It is expressed in involuntary screwing up or rapid blinking of one eye when moving in the region of cheeks, nose, lips. As a rule, the cause is incorrect or incomplete regeneration of the facial nerve after its damage.

There are more unpleasant manifestations, expressed in freakish grimaces, which sometimes look like convulsions, especially when it comes to facial expressions. It is not surprising that patients, therefore, also acquire psychological problems. So you can not neglect medical help, and when such violations occur, you should immediately contact the doctors, because, in part, depends on this, the success of treatment.

Treatment

Earlier it was believed that correction of this type of disease is impossible. Fortunately, modern medicine has a fairly rich arsenal of tools that can help in getting rid of a problem such as syncopeesis. These are reflexology, massage, physiotherapy exercises, medications, physiotherapy procedures and surgical methods. The prognosis depends on many factors, and in any given case, only the doctor can draw any conclusions. With timely detection and diagnosis, the treatment of syncopeesis with the underlying disease usually leads to compensation of motor functions and elimination of gross cosmetic defects. So, for example, in the last few decades, doctors have adopted a botulinum toxin that paralyzes the muscles against this ailment.

Effective prevention does not exist. However, as practice shows, an increase in motor activity counteracts the appearance of this kind of disorders with increased inclination towards them.
