Treatment of tuberculosis by modern methods is possible and affordable

Tuberculosis exists on the ground not for the first century. Earlier it was called consumption, and, it must be said, the name conveyed the essence of the disease as accurately as possible. The patient with tuberculosis literally withered before his eyes. But if before consumption was a sentence, now the treatment of tuberculosis in most cases is very successful. Often it even leads to a full recovery.

Treatment of tuberculosis: a look into the past

For a long time, tuberculosis patients were considered hopeless. Their treatment consisted, in essence, in creating the most sparing conditions: peace, silence, twilight, bed rest, not justifying the medication (they were given simply because it did not seem to treat the patient as immoral). And so until the patient's quiet and slow decay.

Gradually medicine made a discovery: the treatment of tuberculosis is possible, and the great importance here is acquired by fresh air and sun rays. A Samara doctor Nestor Vasilyevich Postnikov in the 19 century and did a real revolution in the therapy of patients with tuberculosis. Having proved the enormous benefits and excellent healing qualities of mare's milk, he opened the world's first koumiss-healing hospital near Samara. The treatment of tuberculosis here was conducted by unprecedented methods until now: patients (including even royal people and courtiers, Russians and not only) played tennis, rode horses, drank, drank and once again drank fresh kumys and ... completely recovered! The clinic for the treatment of tuberculosis, created by the doctor-innovator, has gained worldwide fame. The pilgrimage to the existing museum is still ongoing.

Treatment of tuberculosis with modern drugs

It goes without saying that you should not joke with such a serious illness, as you should not overestimate your strength in the proper choice of therapy. Drugs for the treatment of tuberculosis can be prescribed only by a doctor! However, no one is going to make a secret of their names: the main anti-tuberculosis drugs include medicines Streptomycin, Etambutol, Rifampicin, Izoniazid and Pyrazinamide. And not one of them is assigned, but the whole complex. The fact is that Mycobacterium tuberculosis very quickly adapt to drugs and "learn" to resist them, and therefore they must be combated by the principle of a real attack. In the event that the patient's body was resistant to the above drugs, second-tier medicines are included in the treatment: Kanamycin, Capreomycin, Amikacin, Prothionamide, Ethionamide, Cycloserine, Rifabutin, PASK and Fluoroquinolones. The scheme of their admission is developed individually for each patient. As a rule, the treatment of tuberculosis is divided into several stages, for 2-4 months each.

Tuberculosis and Traditional Medicine

Is it worth it to entrust your health to national medicine? Decide, of course, to everyone. However, we would not recommend ignoring the achievements of modern science. Still, tuberculosis is a serious disease, socially dangerous and, unfortunately, takes hundreds of thousands of lives every year. Nevertheless, folk knowledge can be very useful, especially if combined with traditional treatment.

Like the aforementioned Samara doctor, modern folk healers recommend that patients have more to visit in the fresh air, do not hide from the sun, and as well as possible to ventilate the rooms. Reasonable physical exertion (again in the fresh air), too, will not harm. It is very good to lead, as far as possible, a healthy lifestyle - primarily without cigarettes and alcohol, not to mention drugs. However, about alcohol drinks some recipes allow indulgences: so, a teaspoon of cognac, diluted in warm milk, drunk before going to bed, goes to the patient for good.

Very actively, traditional medicine advocates for the ironing of the body. And not pharmacies, and "mined" in this way: several clean, but rusty nails stuck for several hours in an apple, after which it must be eaten. The procedure is repeated daily.

It is recommended by traditional medicine and dozens of other drugs that make the treatment of tuberculosis more successful. Many of them in modern life, of course, are inaccessible. But some can be recommended, we will repeat, not instead of, but together with the prescribed course of drug therapy. By the way, choosing this or that folk remedy, it is not superfluous to consult with the doctor, whether it suits you.

And the main thing in the fight against tuberculosis, as well as in any treatment, is to believe in the strength of your body and know: full recovery is possible, most importantly, do not give up!
