Switch single-key: device and varieties

A tool such as a one-key switch serves to switch electrical circuits of household appliances and lighting and can be mounted both in suspended and in a stationary state. In other words, this device turns off and turns on the appliance (most often illuminating) when a certain button is pressed. Specifically, on this device it is one, hence the name "single-key". Due to their design, such tools can quickly stop the supply of electricity, or vice versa - connect the device to the main current source. In the wiring circuit, the one-key switch is an intermediate link, since it separates the source and the energy consumer.

Varieties

This switch can differ constructively in the number of poles (one or two), as well as in execution (it can be hermetic, protected, in plastic or metal casing). In addition, there are devices for open or concealed wiring. In our homes and apartments, the single-key switch for concealed wiring with a plastic casing is most often used.

It is worth noting that at the moment there are a lot of interesting design designs of buildings that perfectly fit into any style of the interior. The most common color of the color of the switches is white, but at the same time there are many models with different colors and shades. The one-key switch can be decorated with patterns or chrome stripes. Today's cases and their design solutions for such devices are much more modern and attractive than dull Soviet switches of monotonous color and scant form.

As we already noted at the beginning of the article, the switch is single-key, to be exact, its housing can be made of plastic or metal. However, we do not see the last type of devices in stores for some reason. Why? The fact is that the processing of plastic requires a minimum of effort and money, because it is more exposed to the formation than any other material. In addition, the cost of the finished device is one of the most affordable for today. Even the most luxurious one-key switch costs no more than 300 rubles.

Installation

Such a device, thanks to its compact dimensions and harmonious form, can be mounted almost anywhere. There are no specific rules for the installation of switches in the living quarters, which means that they can be installed at will in any angle at any height.

On average, the cost of such devices varies from 40 to 200 rubles, making them one of the most affordable switches of their kind. Two- and three-key devices have a more complex design, and therefore stand a few percent more. But all this early does not make them inaccessible to ordinary citizens.
