So how do you install the pads for drywall? It is this issue that is one of the most common during the repair, and we will now answer it, along the way, describing all the subtleties and possible complications of this process.

Material selection

So, the pads for drywall, of course, are slightly different from those used for the installation of electricians in concrete or brick. Their main difference is the fact that no application of concrete and other means for reliable fixing and drowning of the juniper is required. The walls of plasterboard are hollow or, as they say, hollow.

Thus, when choosing a podzroetnik under gypsum board, it is necessary first of all to pay attention to the material of which it is made. The most common and cheap option is the usual plastic, but wiring with the use of such tools is considered unsafe, and not for nothing. The best choice for everyone is a self-extinguishing plastic pad. Drilling process

Once the preparatory work in the form of wall treatment and marking is completed, it's time to start drilling holes. To do this, the best way would be to have a special drill bit, with which you can easily drill a hole of the required diameter, but if you do not have such tools, it will be enough to purchase a regular large-diameter drill and have an assembly knife at hand . With such simple tools, you can easily install the dashboard for gypsum board, the main thing in this case is to remember that the hole must be strictly of the prescribed diameter and the element of the socket must enter into it end-to-end, only in this way it is possible to achieve proper fixation and safety.

The fact is that on every detail of this type there are 4 bolts. Two of them are responsible for directly fixing the outlet you bought, and two others for the rigidity of fixing the juniper. At the moment we need the last two bolts.

Installation process

To properly mount the jigsaw, it is necessary to push it into the prepared hole with a simple but cautious movement and begin to twist the two above-mentioned bolts with a cross-head screwdriver. Their mechanism is arranged in such a way that in the depth to them are attached special hinges (paws) which, at the moment of tightening, begin to move along the thread towards the juniper, thereby pressing it against the sheet of gypsum board, providing a durable fixation. Such hinges can be both metal and plastic, but this does not affect the fixation strength.

By the way, before installing the podrozetnikov in gypsum cardboard is finished and you tighten both bolts, fixing the jar, do not forget to put a wire into it, which will provide power to the outlet or switch.
