Of course, the most attractive are the pictures, which depict a lush bouquet. But in order to draw this, you need to understand how a single flower looks. And today there will be a story about how to draw a carnation in stages.

Pay attention to its petals: there are a lot of them, and they are all arranged in several rows in a circle. On the edges of each of them there are uneven denticles. The pedicel of the carnation has a slightly elongated shape and is a bit like a glass. The stem is very long, with a few thickening in the places where the narrow leaves grow. Therefore, before you draw a carnation pencil, you need to outline its general outline. Take a piece of paper and make a preliminary sketch: a small circle (a future flower), a slightly elongated triangle (peduncle) and a branch that is slightly curved and long (stalk). Small circles indicate the thickening, from which the leaves grow.
The next step, how to draw a carnation, will be its detailing. We begin to outline the contours of the "torn" petals along the edge of the circle. Note that the closer to the middle, the smaller they are. Of course, in the very center of the petals it is completely invisible, therefore it will be enough to imitate them, having depicted many uneven, broken lines.
