In 2004, in a popular group "A-Studio" there was another change of composition, and Paulina Griffiths, who was not liked by many fans, was replaced by a little-known Georgian singer in Russia. However, the unusual appearance and beautiful voice made many talk about it. And first of all everyone was interested in the name of the soloist "A-Studio" and other details about it. Keti Topuria quickly joined the team, despite the fact that the group had already existed for 16 years. But was everything so easy for her in life?

Life in Georgia

Ketevan Topuria was born on September 9, 1986 in Tbilisi. Her parents Andro and Natalia were not only not musicians, but they were not interested in music either. The future singer's father was an architect by profession and his mother by a chemical engineer. However, the neighbor of the family, a school music teacher, noticed the girl's talent and offered to give her to a music school. In 1998 Keti Topuria graduated with success and in the same year entered the music school. After 5 years, she received a diploma in "Teacher of Vocals".

During these years, the future soloist "A-Studio" was able to make a good musical career in her homeland. By 2003, 2 solo albums in the Georgian language were recorded and released, which quickly became popular. In addition, Ketya participated in children's music competitions, and very successfully. So, in 1998 she received the main prize at the festival of young performers "The Sea of Friendship", and in 2000 - Grand Prix of the International Festival "The Way to the Stars".

However, in 2003 Keti Topuria decided to get a "serious" profession and entered the Georgian State University at the Faculty of Psychology. But she could not finish it. Participation in the group "A-Studio" and study the girl could not be combined.

Participation in "A-Studio"

10 years ago the collective "A-Studio" decided to leave the soloist Polina Griffiths. The popular group urgently needed her to replace the singer. Then producer Keti Topuria Nato Dumbadze decided to send them a record of her songs and performances. However, despite the tremendous vocal of the girl, Batyrkhan Shukenov and other members of the collective embarrassed her origins. Later they will notice that they could hardly imagine how the Georgian could fit into the collective. But still it was decided to invite her to audition, and from the end of 2004 the girl began to work in a group.

In 2005 Keti Topuria was officially introduced as a new soloist "A-Studio". The first single with her participation "Fly away" headed all the Russian charts, and it became clear that Ketya looks in the team very organically. Many music critics have even started talking about a new wave of success for the band. In the same year the self-titled album comes out, most of the songs from which Kety Topuria performed.

In 2007 and 2010, 3 more albums were released with her participation: 905, XX and "Waves", Total. Many songs from them became hits. So, singles "Angel", "I'm running", "Heart to heart" and Fashion Girl have become a real business card not only of the group, but also of the singer herself. At the jubilee party of Alla Pugacheva Cathy, the soloist "A-Studio" , so successfully performed her song "Just like everything", that it even decided to make a video. In modern arrangements, the old hit again topped the Russian charts. Now the band is working hard to create a new album.

A long time soloist "A-Studio" Keti Topuria avoided questions about her personal life. She was credited with novels with one celebrity, then with another.
