"Seventeen Moments of Spring": actors and roles

"Seventeen Moments of Spring" is the Soviet classics of cinema. The film consists of twelve series. He was shot almost four years, and his show was timed to the Victory Day of 1973.

Plot

The picture is based on the novel by Julian Semenov. In the film "Seventeen Moments of Spring" actors embody both real historical characters, and fictional.

The action takes place during a month and a half in 1945. The protagonist is Standartenfiihrer Stirlitz, a Soviet intelligence officer who was deployed in the highest circles of the German government.

Some members of the Security Service have suspicions about Stirlitz, and he is followed by surveillance. At this time, the scout fulfills the task of the Soviet leadership, finding out who among the German leaders is negotiating with the US on reconciliation.

Radiks Shtirlits fall under fire in their own home. Erwin Keane dies on the spot, and his wife Katherine is taken to the hospital, where she begins to give birth. At this time she betrays herself. Being in unconsciousness, he screams in pain in Russian. She is immediately arrested.

Stirlitz is looking for other ways to convey information to Moscow. He also faces several important tasks: first, to evade suspicions, secondly, to complete the mission entrusted by the Soviet Union, and third, to save Catherine.

Casting

For the film "Seventeen Moments of Spring" the actors were selected very carefully. Despite the fact that most of the artists were already recognized masters, they passed tests on a par with everyone. So, L. Kuravlev and L. Broneva claimed the role of Hitler, but the samples did not pass.

  • Vasily Lanovoy. Played a parlementer in the negotiations of Karl Wolff.
  • Ekaterina Gradova. Her heroine, radio operator Kat, almost killed Stirlitz.
  • Leonid Bronevoi. He played the role of Mueller.
  • Oleg Tabakov. His Schellenberg was the direct commander of a Russian scout. He owns one famous phrase, which has already become winged: "He knew too much."
  • Rostislav Plyatt. Played the pastor Schlag, the new connected Stirlitz.
  • Evgeny Evstigneev. His character, Pleischner, died while performing a reconnaissance mission.

Secondary roles
