Since that time, sambo has gained considerable popularity. Many citizens have an interest in this kind of martial arts. You ask why? The answer to this question is quite simple. Sambo is a domestic kind of struggle that attracts men and women, young people and teenagers to study the art of unarmed self-defense in various life situations. This is a significant fact. Sambo, which combined elements of several national martial arts, is close in spirit, ideology and philosophy to many Russians. Further about this in more detail.

Types of this fight

"Sambo" stands for self-defense without weapons. As already mentioned, this fight is divided into two types: sports and combat sambo. Let us consider in more detail each of them.

Kind of sports (main)

This type helps to acquire the skills of techniques that are necessary for self-defense. In this regard, there are certain criteria. In this case, you need a special cloth jacket with a belt. This is an important condition. The wrestlers use grips for the belt and other parts of the jacket located above it. However, there are other ways of Sambo. They admit still grabbing the opponent's legs and arms. The goal of the fight in sambo is an absolute victory.

In this case, during the fight, the following actions are inadmissible:

  1. Throwing the enemy on his head.
  2. Choking techniques in sambo.
  3. Implementation of throws, in which the athlete with the whole body falls on the opponent.
  4. Conducting strikes on the neck and twisting it.
  5. Compression of the head and pressing it against the carpet.
  6. Pressing on the body with the knee or elbow.
  7. Touching the face of the enemy.
  8. Carrying out painful techniques while standing.
  9. Doing the gripping of fingers.
  10. Carrying out painful jerks.

Combat Sambo

It consists of self-defense and a special unit. In the first case, basic Sambo techniques are used, which are strengthened by certain individual actions that are not permitted in a sports fight. Namely - the pressure of the hand, the painful reception during the standing fight and so on. Self-defense is used against any unexpected attacks by the enemy, which can be with or without weapons. This is combat sambo. Receptions of this kind in full can master those who are cold-blooded, brave, have the will to win and have good physical training. These qualities are brought up and developed in the classroom. A special part of this kind consists of methods of suffocating, close combat, detention, disarming, escorting, binding and other. Their application is carried out by military personnel and operational personnel. Successful use of the techniques of the special part is permissible only with an excellent knowledge of self-defense and constant diligent training.

Tactics

Compared with other types of martial arts, sambo is as close to the conditions of a real fight. This was achieved through the removal of those not always justified conventions, which are typical for other sports types of struggle. In this case, sparring is carried out both standing and lying on the carpet.

This fight on tactics is attacking and defensive. Each direction has its own peculiarities. The goal of the attack is to achieve victory. This includes also harassment and attack. Active defense is focused on preventing the enemy from attacking and proceeding to attack. It consists of counter-fighting and timely preparation of response actions. This is important to know. In addition to the basic forms of action, there are also auxiliary ones. They refer to them intelligence, maneuvering and disguise.

In Sambo, certain methods of fighting are used: suppression of initiative, suddenness, distraction, entrapment and so on. When choosing methods and forms of sparring, the sambo wrestler must take into account the opponent's capabilities and his data. In the tactics of single combat it is important to plan the fight and the tournament as a whole. This is an essential fact. Sambo fighters plan tactics in advance, which corresponds to their ideas and possibilities. They also choose the rhythm and pace of the fight, which will correspond to their fitness and temperament, determine the types of reconnaissance, maneuvering and masking. Drawing up a competition plan gives the sambist the opportunity to rationally spend his techniques and forces throughout the tournament.

Technique of standing

This includes a certain set of actions. The technique of fighting sambo standing includes:

  1. Distances, racks, preparation for captures, captures, fraudulent movements and movements.
  2. Methods of preparation for throws, initial provisions for their conduct and approaches to them.
  3. Breakthroughs of defensive seizures.
  4. Sambo throws, combinations of them, as well as protection against them.
  5. Insurance.
  6. Return throws.

The technique of lying

These include:

  1. Provisions are initial and auxiliary actions.
  2. Breakthrough seizures defensive.
  3. Overturning.
  4. Pain receptions.
  5. Flooding.
  6. Combinations of wrestling techniques lying and protection against them.
  7. Hold.
  8. Responses in the fight lying down.

Dances in Sambo

In this case, there are five types:

  1. Distance beyond the grip. It implies a situation in which the wrestlers do not touch each other and are looking for a convenient time to attack. At the same time, they move along the carpet and conduct various deceptive movements.
  2. Distance far. In this case, the sambo wrestlers grab each other by the sleeves. It is done with one or both hands.
  3. The distance is average. A situation in which wrestlers grab one another for clothes in front of the trunk. It is also allowed to take the opponent by the sleeve with one hand.
  4. Distance close. Sambo wrestlers take one hand by the jacket on the chest or by the sleeve, and the other by the clothes on the back, by the foot or the gate.
  5. The distance is close. The wrestlers make each other girth. In this case, they tuck themselves together with their trunks or twist the opponent's leg with the lower limb.

Types of grips in sambo

Knowledge of these actions and their correct application is an important criterion in this kind of martial arts. Grips are the basic, reciprocal, preliminary and defensive. Next, consider the definition of each of them.

Basic captures

These actions in the standing fight are carried out to execute the throw. The wrestler carries them out in advance, before the enemy tries to impose his capture. The main thing here is not to miss the right moment.

Hooks reciprocal (counter)

The implementation of these actions is also of a certain nature. They are in the fight standing standing fighter in response to attempts to capture the enemy. It should take into account the conditions created by him. Throws can also be made using counter-grips. This is a significant factor in the implementation of sparring.

Gripping defensive

They are conducted to impede the actions of the enemy, so as not to allow him to make any throw. Nevertheless, in this case there is also a certain fact. It consists in the fact that at a particular moment the defensive seizure can be used by the wrestler for carrying out throws. The main thing is to be careful in this regard. That is, it is necessary not to miss this moment.

Preliminary grips

These actions provide convenient starting positions. They ensure the holding of subsequent major captures and the execution of throws with them. The main thing is to concentrate on the correct implementation of these actions.

Sambo Throws

By these actions means receptions by means of which the opponent from the stand of the fight is standing in a lying position. That is, the opponent's throw is carried out. There are several types of these methods. Let's consider in detail each of them in detail.

Throws with your feet

In this case, the name speaks for itself. In such throws the wrestler's legs act against the trunk or lower limbs of the opponent. These sambo techniques play a major role in sparring. Throws by feet are divided into several: hooks, footsteps, podsady, podsechki and podsevy.

  1. The footsteps. By these actions, shots are meant when the sambist's foot is inserted from the rear, from the outside (from the side) or from the front of one or two lower extremities of the opponent. After that, the enemy, with the help of a jerk with his hands, gets over it. At the time when these sambo techniques are held, both legs of the wrestler should touch the carpet. The foot steps are rear, front and side.
  2. Hooks. These techniques are understood as such shots, during which the sambist's foot grabs one of the enemy's lower limbs. Then he throws it. At the same time, the sambo wrestler takes out his leg, which is caught, from under the center of gravity of the opponent, pulling his hands out of balance. Hooks can be carried out with the help of the shin, heel (Achilles tendon) and the back of the foot. Everything depends on the prevailing conditions in the struggle. At the same time, the held hook with the help of the shin and foot of the same leg is called the crochet for one lower extremity of the opponent. There is another set of actions of this type. It is called a double hook. This is a fairly significant technique. By this means simultaneous holding of a hook with the help of a foot of one foot for the popliteal fold, and with the help of the second for the Achilles tendon of the other lower extremity of the opponent. These techniques are carried out with both a fall and a rack.
  3. Tackling. This is also a unique technique of sambo. These are shots, in which the opponent's legs are pummeled with the shin or thigh of a wrestler at a time with a jerk by hands in the direction opposite to this action. In this case there is such a technique as pick-up. By this is meant a throw, during which the legs of the opponent must be shaved by the shin or thigh in front, from the inside or from the side. There is another important device in this regard. It is called a snap. This is when the back of the lower leg is bent by the popliteal fold of the opponent. No less important is the double punching. It is carried out at a time using two legs in opposite directions. Traditionally, this throw is called "scissors".
  4. Cutting. This is a throw, during which the main action that causes the opponent to fall is to beat the lower leg, knee or foot of the opponent with the toe part of the sole. Divide the sweeps into the rear, front, side, and also from inside.
  5. Podsady. These techniques include throws in which a wrestler lifts his or her torso or lower extremities with his or her foot. At the same time, the sambo wrestler performs a coup d'etat in the required direction with the help of his hands. These techniques are subdivided into shocks by the shin, thigh, sole and lifting. Their application depends on the situation that arose in the process of sparring. When carrying out an arm in the trunk, the opponent's throw is made by the shin or sole. This is done forward through the head of the thrower. This is a pretty spectacular device. Call it a throw over the head. Podsady hip or shin are produced both with a fall and in a rack. Through the head throws, as well as the torso of the trunk with the implementation of the capture of two heels or from the inside by lifting are done only with a fall. This is important to know.

Throws in the main body

In the implementation of this method, certain actions are carried out: the wrestler throws the body or legs of the opponent part of his own body. After this, the rival is thrown through himself. Basically, these techniques are divided into throws through the pelvic (thigh) and the shoulder ("Mill") belt, and also through the back or chest. In each case there is a certain sequence of actions.

  1. Throws through the hip are receptions, in the implementation of which the wrestler knocks the upper part of the legs with his pelvic belt. At the same time, in the opposite direction, a jerk is made by hands. Throw throws through the thigh is acceptable both with the fall and in the rack.
  2. "Mills" refers to such techniques, in the implementation of which the wrestler's body is rolled over his own shoulders. For this, various grips are made. "Mill" can be carried out with both a fall and a rack.
  3. Throws through the back are actions in which a fighter rolls his opponent's body through his own back. These techniques with the capture of the arm under the shoulder and the roll are carried out exclusively with a fall. Another fact should also be considered. It consists in that these throws by grasping the arm on the shoulder, through the back (reverse) and pulling are carried out with both a fall and a rack. Everything depends on the situation that developed during the struggle.
  4. Throws through the chest are actions in which the wrestler knocks the belly down with the lower part of his own body. After this, the sambo wrestler rushes left or right through his chest. There is one more combination in this plan. It consists in the fact that with the help of two hands the wrestler carries out an incline up the stomach and chest of the opponent. After this, the above throw is also carried out. These actions are carried out exclusively with the fall.

Throws basically by hands

In the implementation of these techniques, the wrestler's legs do not touch the lower extremities or the body of the opponent. Also, his body does not pass through a similar part of the enemy's body. Nevertheless, in some cases it can be used as an additional reference point for turning the opponent to the carpet with his back. Advantageously, these techniques are conducted using the strength of the wrestler's hands.

Throwing jerk at the sleeves

Here, too, the name speaks for itself. In the implementation of this method, a fighter who is at a distant distance from the opponent, deprives the last balance and makes a throw on the carpet with a strong jerk by the sleeves. This action has a traditional name - taking off from equilibrium.

Throws by the leg

When implementing this method, a certain combination of actions is carried out. A wrestler grasps the opponent's leg with one hand, and with the help of the second - his sleeve, waistband, under the shoulder, forearm or presses on the captured lower limb. In this case, a jerk is made, which ensures the overturning of the opponent. In this case, neither the body nor the legs of the wrestler directly affect the body and lower limbs of the opponent. These techniques consist of shots jerk for the heel, for the shin and for the thigh. Everything also depends on the situation.

Throws jerk for both feet

By these actions means receptions, in which the wrestler grasps the two lower extremities of the opponent simultaneously or alternately. After this, the opponent is thrown.

Throws by somersault

These methods of fighting sambo are carried out by jerking both hands with the pressure on the shoulder blades or the head of the opponent. In this case, the athlete's legs should not touch the trunk or lower extremities of the opponent.

Coups

These techniques include certain Sambo throws. For their implementation, the wrestler holds up and turns over the opponent with his hands in the air. This is to throw it on the back. In coups, the wrestler's legs must not touch either the hull or the lower extremities of the opponent. In special cases, the sambo wrestler uses the trunk as an additional anchor point to facilitate reversing the opponent. These techniques are divided into front, rear and side.

Painful receptions in sambo

These are important actions in this fight. Painful methods are called grips, with the help of which the sambist acts on the joints of the legs or hands of an opponent. As a result, he puts him in a desperate situation. There are the following sambo pains:

  1. On the joints of the hands. It is performed when the elbow joint is bent. It is called the "lever of the elbow."
  2. Holding the arm outward. This is done through the implementation of a characteristic weave of limbs. These techniques are called "nodes".
  3. Holding the arm inward. Such tricks are called "reverse nodes".
  4. Infringement of the biceps.
  5. The shoulder lever.
  6. Pain receptions on the brush. They are used exclusively in the form of combat sambo.
  7. Techniques for leg joints: conduction of infringement of the Achilles tendon and calf muscle (soleus); Painful techniques for hip joints; Conduction of knee joint bending - is called "knee lever".

Sambo for children

This kind of martial arts, like many others, is quite good for the development of the child. Sambo for children provides for a certain set of activities. They ensure the development of the physical and psychological state of the child. This is one of the main features of this kind of struggle, like Sambo. Techniques for beginners who are properly planned will help to "spark a spark" in the child in fostering the will to win, as well as in improving self-esteem. This is an essential fact. Sambo for girls and boys will be a wonderful alternative to computer games. Currently, there is a lot of relevant literature. It details the techniques of sambo in the pictures. They can be studied on their own. However, training should be conducted in the presence of a professional in this field. A coach for everyone can find an individual approach. Also, under his control, you can achieve the desired results.

Conclusion

Having become acquainted with the above, everyone can understand what exactly this type of struggle is. However, it should be remembered that to master the skills of Sambo you should have a desire and diligently engage in the development of techniques.
