On the fracture, a viscous mucus is secreted.

Flowering begins in late May. On the plant appear beautiful purple, blue, violet, much less often white flowers. The fruit is a pod with four nuts, which mature until September. The plant perfectly multiplies itself by self-seeding, and, being on an infield, quickly recovers new areas. With the root to remove it is incredibly difficult. Even from a tiny piece of root left in the ground, a healthy and strong plant will appear next year.

Composition

The root of the fool is rich in useful substances. It contains alkaloids: lysicarpine and cynoglossin. In addition, it includes tannins, glycosides, essential oils, resins, mucus, gums and other organic compounds.

Healing properties

For this reason, in many countries its use is prohibited in traditional medicine. This decision was due to the conclusion of scientists who felt that long-term use of drugs based on the root of this plant is harmful, since it can cause a mutagenic and carcinogenic effect.

Compress

You will need 100 grams of powder from the root of the lively and vegetable oil, diluted with water in equal proportions. Pour the powder with a small amount of water-oil mixture to make a gruel, a consistency resembling thick sour cream. To burn the skin faster after the burn, take the roots of the feline, chop it with a blender and measure a tablespoon (with a slide) of the finished product. This tincture is effective in the treatment of sinusitis. To do this, for three days in the evening make compresses on the forehead. This procedure will localize the inflammatory process and enhance mucus secretion.

Honey mixture with a fisheye

This drug is known as an effective anti-tuberculosis drug. In addition, such a composition is useful in the deposition of salts. Peeled and washed under running water, chop and mix in equal proportions with natural honey. The resulting mixture is taken on a teaspoonful (tea) daily for half an hour before meals for two weeks. Then the treatment is interrupted for two weeks, after which the course can be repeated.

Contraindications

Take them with great caution and preferably under the supervision of a doctor. Drinking comfrey greatly reduces blood pressure, so hypotension use of these drugs is contraindicated.
