Shish kebabs are good for meeting friends or Sunday lunch with the whole family, but for everyday meals it is better to choose something more useful, for example grilled vegetables. At home, they can be cooked in a special frying pan. Everything that you like is suitable: from zucchini to Bulgarian pepper. The main thing that should take into account their recipe - vegetables on the grill tastes better with marinades. Therefore, the method of preparation is distinguished primarily by sauces used in the cooking process. Let's consider some variants.

Recipe: grilled vegetables with garlic and lemon

For two or four servings of vegetable shashlik you will need one zucchini, eggplant, tomato, pepper, onion, several large mushrooms, a pair of cloves of garlic, lemon juice, a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, basil. Wash all the vegetables carefully. Eggplants cut into circles about one centimeter wide. Put in salt water. Zucchini slice in the same circles. Pepper and cut into slices. Divide the tomato and onions into quarters. Put all the vegetables, except tomato, in a bowl, add the mushrooms, salt, pepper and pour olive oil, stir, season and let it brew for a quarter of an hour. Salt the tomatoes and pepper the vegetables with skewers in any order. If you take as many products as the recipe indicates, the vegetables on the grill will take about five skewers. Cooking should be about twenty minutes, periodically turning over. While hot coals are in effect, prepare the gas station. Finely chop the garlic, squeeze the juice of fresh lemon. When the vegetables are ready, sprinkle with garlic and pour over the juice. The fragrance will be simply unforgettable. A calorie in this dish is very, very little, so you can eat without fear of the waist.
