Can I eat cakes with raw food

Even experienced saviors need psychological relief. Earlier you could eat your favorite candy or a piece of a cake, and it became more fun to live. In raw food, everything is a bit more complicated, and not always fruits and nuts can replace a sweet treat. It is precisely because of this that failures occur, especially among those who have only recently switched to a new food system for him.

Experienced raw-eaters know that to fill the deficit of vitamins that affect the mood, you can use dried fruits and seeds, such as sesame and poppy. It is not necessary to eat foods in pure form. It is much more interesting and tasty to cook a favorite dessert from them - a raw cake.

A simple recipe for a raw chocolate cake

Among the recipes of raw cakes there are really many delicious desserts. In addition, they are prepared very simply and quickly. One of them is a chocolate raw cake. It consists of a nut-chocolate filling and glaze. A step-by-step recipe is presented below.

To create the filling, you need 100 g of walnuts, 50 g of pistachios and hazelnuts, 100 g of raisins, several pieces of dates and dried figs. All ingredients should be ground in a blender, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1 orange juice, 3 tablespoons coconut oil and mix thoroughly. After that, the mass should be put in any form, covered with parchment, and sent to the freezer for 1 hour.

Now you can start preparing the glaze. On a water bath, melt 50 g of cocoa butter, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, vanilla, half a lemon zest and mint. Next, you need to get the cake from the freezer, release it from the parchment, put the dessert on the dish and pour on the glaze. Bon Appetit!

Cake raw can be made without glaze, and the nuts in the filling is not crushed into a crumb, but simply chopped finely with a knife. All the same, you will get a very tasty chocolate dessert for raw food.

Raw cake: recipe "Napoleon"

Traditional "Napoleon" is distinguished not only by pleasant taste qualities, but also by high caloric content. To feed raw food, it does not fit. It is much more useful to prepare "Napoleon" from fruits and nuts.

A raw cake with this recipe is prepared easily. We need:

  • Wash 1 large apple and 1 pear, peel. Cut the fruit in half, pull out the core. Cut each half of an apple and a pear with thin slices.
  • Prepare the nut crumb. Separately grind 1/2 cup of almonds and the same number of walnuts. To the crumb, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanillin and cinnamon.
  • Make a useful cream for the raw cake Napoleon. To do this, you need to connect 7 tablespoons of liquid honey with zest and juice of 1 lemon. Add 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
  • Collect the cake. To do this, you can use any shape or spread the ingredients one by one right on the plate. The first layer is the apple slice, which must be dipped first in honey, then in a walnut. The second - slice pears in honey and almond crumbs. The third is an apple again. The fourth is a pear, and so on.
  • The collected cake should be decorated on top of the remaining nut crumbs and raisins.

Raw soybean "Medovik"

The cake for this recipe is prepared on the basis of nuts with the addition of the obligatory ingredient - honey. You can use any nuts, but the most delicious dessert is obtained with almonds.

For a cake you need to grind 2 cups of almonds, after having soaked it for several hours. Add half a cup of sesame and flaxseed, prunes and grated carrot. Combine in a blender until smooth. Add honey to taste. For impregnation, you can prepare a cream of banana, honey and juice of half a lemon.

Cake raw is obtained quite wet due to the juice of carrots. If desired, it can be slightly dried in the oven, heated to a temperature of not more than 40 degrees.

Carrot cake for raw food

This cake can really be called useful, because all the ingredients that are used to make it, do not need to be heat-treated. And this means that all important vitamins and minerals are preserved in full. Raw cake, the recipe of which is proposed below, is prepared from carrots, raisins and oat flakes with the addition of spicy spices. And that it really looked like a real mouth-watering dessert, it is decorated with coconut cream on top .

Cake preparation begins with the preparation of nuts for the cream. To do this, a glass of cashew nuts should be soaked for at least 24 hours. If you do not, you will not be able to get the cream of the right consistency. A glass of walnuts and 100 grams of oatmeal are ground in a blender. Carrots (3 pcs.) Grate on a fine grater and combine with nut-oats crumb. Add 50 grams of dates and raisins and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.

The raw dough for the cake is ready. Now it can be laid out in the form (not too tightly) and proceed with the preparation of the cream. In a blender, whip the casco nuts (pre-drained water), 100 ml of coconut milk, 1 tablespoon of oil, 3 tablespoons of honey and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Pour the cream on top of the cake raw and decorate, if desired, with crushed cashew nuts.

Cheesecake

Let's prepare a raw cake without nuts. To create cheesecake according to a traditional recipe, cookie crumb and cottage cheese are used. But it is absolutely not suitable for raw food producers who do not eat animal products. Therefore, they prepare cheesecake from such products as green buckwheat, carrots, beets, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, lemon and honey.

For the test and cream, you need 2 cups of buckwheat (necessarily green), which in advance, preferably at night, to fill with water. In the morning on it already there will be shoots. After that, juice from carrots and beets should be squeezed out. For the test, you only need cake. You can drink juice, as it is not used in the recipe. Cake, lemon zest, half sprouts of buckwheat and 2 tablespoons of honey should be ground with a blender until smooth. Now the dough should be dried at room temperature or in the oven at 40 degrees for about 12 hours.

The dry dough will look like a cookie. Now, as for a regular cheesecake, it needs to be crushed into a crumb, add a little water, so that the mass looks like plasticine, and put it in a split form. Top should be laid out the filling: whipped the remaining sprouts of buckwheat, honey to taste and 4 tablespoons of butter-cocoa. The raw cake should be kept in the freezer for 10 hours, and 15 minutes before eating, get it from it. If desired, before serving, you can sprinkle a cheesecake with cocoa powder.
