Rashes on the body of an adult - a skin disease or a symptom of another disease

Many skin eruptions are caused by the body's response to various toxins from outside. Such a reaction can be caused by anything - from allergies to medications or products, to infectious or fungal skin lesions. Skin rash on the body has become a common phenomenon lately, as we have a huge number of organic, inorganic and synthetic chemicals with which we come in contact every day. Pollution of our environment, genetically modified foods, dead food - all this can cause a rash on the body of an adult.

The rash is flat and convex, wet or dry, without inflammation and with them. Skin rashes can be accompanied by tingling, itching, burning, but can be without these manifestations. A rash in the body of an adult can arise and again disappear. The rash has many forms and manifestations.

Treatment of skin only does not give practically no results. Treatment should be comprehensive, because only this way you can eliminate the cause of the disease itself, and not just its symptoms, which appear as a rash on the body of an adult. In the case of such a disease, various analyzes are required to determine an effective method of treatment. Only on the basis of their results, the doctor will be able to choose the right course of therapy.

There are many reasons to contact a doctor with a problem, such as a rash on the body of an adult. A competent consultation is needed in such cases:

  • Along with skin rashes, there is general malaise and fever;
  • When there is severe headache and drowsiness;
  • You or your family members have an itchy rash on the body;
  • When there are purple or black spots on large areas of the skin;
  • Rashes are accompanied by a sensation of tingling, burning, blistering or bleeding;
  • The rash in the body of an adult arose after taking medications;
  • With rashes of red color, which have clear outlines, reminiscent of the shape of a butterfly and protruding above the skin;
  • In case of occurrence of various kinds of rashes at once at several members of your family.

The rash on the body in an adult with allergies is one of the most frequent of her symptoms. With the general reaction of the body to the allergen, the rash manifests itself almost throughout the body. Sometimes allergic skin rashes are of limited nature. The most common cause of these types of rashes is an allergy to food or a touch of any powerful allergen. Recently, allergies to various detergents are very common. In this case, the rash concentrates mainly in the area of the hands.

Skin rashes can also occur with allergies to antibiotics and other medications. Some infectious, viral and fungal diseases are accompanied by a specific skin rash (fungal infection, chicken pox, scarlet fever).

Another frequent cause of skin rash in an adult is the presence of skin parasites. One of the varieties of such diseases is scabies and demodicosis caused by subcutaneous mites. Usually, these diseases are accompanied by a strong, incessant pruritus. These diseases are dangerous because they are very contagious. All severe forms of skin rashes may require prolonged examination and treatment.

If there is not enough lubrication with cortisone to remove the rash, be sure to consult a dermatologist. If rashes often occur after using some household chemicals, try to abandon them. Try to limit their use to a minimum. Often, the rejection of the usual household chemicals can completely eliminate certain types of skin rashes.
