RAM - random access memory, designed to store data when the computer is turned on. RAM performs a number of important tasks, without which the functioning of the entire system is simply impossible:

  2. Storing commands and actions, which are subsequently transferred to the CPU for processing and playback. Data can be transferred not only directly to the processor, but also to its cache memory, which is much faster than RAM memory.
