The iliac region is a pain

The iliac region looks like a wide and flat hollow. By itself, the pain in the right ileal region, as in the left, is not an independent disease. The same concerns in general any pain, wherever they arise.

Pain is a symptom of pathology. It is the iliac region that often bothers many patients. Especially often complaints of pain in this area come from women. Such pains are of a long-lasting nature, as well as short-term. They can be aching, weak or strong.

At the same time in certain people such symptoms appear at different times of the day without any explanatory reasons. Other patients associate the occurrence of pain with external factors. For example, a symptom arose as a result of lifting the severity or even due to prolonged constipation.

It should be remembered: pain in the iliac region to the right may indicate the presence of abnormalities of the appendix, genital organs or the right kidney. Pain may not be clearly localized at first, but later manifest more clearly in a specific place. For example, with appendicitis, the pain sometimes begins around the navel or in the epigastric region.

Severe pain in the abdominal region may occur as a result of extraperitoneal pathologies. In particular, in children, the abdomen often hurts because of infectious diseases, such as scarlet fever. The remaining symptoms of infection, for example, rashes, manifest later. Also , abdominal pain is accompanied by ARVI, influenza and other infections.

The nature of the pain in diagnosing is of paramount importance. For example, if it is a pain of a cramping character, then perhaps it signals a spasm of smooth muscle, renal and hepatic colic, or bowel obstruction. Up to 20% of cases of appeals to medical institutions with complaints of cramping pain in the lower right are a consequence of acute appendicitis.

Pain that increases gradually, can report the presence of inflammatory processes in the relevant organs. At periodically exacerbated pains the impression of a cramping character can be created.
