Agrotechnics

Unlike a small radish, the daikon is quite large. The length of its root crops varies from 10-100 cm depending on the variety. In shape, the fruit resembles large icicles. The soil in the beds intended for this culture, from the fall, is dug quite deep (no less than the bayonet bayonet). The best root crops grow on well-fertilized peat of light and clay soils. Before planting the soil can be fertilized with humus or compost. The beds should be wide. Between the rows, about 70 cm are left, and between plants, 30 cm. 2-3 seeds are thrown into the nest. Seal them 4-5 cm. The nest leaves the strongest plants. Radish daikon needs the same care as radish or radish. It is necessary to weed the beds 2-3 times. Watering is carried out if necessary. On fertile soils, fertilizing of plants is not required. Harvest is harvested in dry weather. Root crops are digging a bit with forks, and then pulled out by the tops. The scavenged daikon is dried right on the beds, removes the soil adhering to the radish and stores it for up to 3 months in the refrigerator or basement.
