Pressurizing the heating system. Act of crimping the heating system

Pressurized heating system - a procedure that allows to identify its weak spots, held annually at the beginning of the heating season and in some other cases. In the process of operation, pipelines, shut-off valves, heating radiators, etc., can gradually become unusable. Conducting tests significantly reduces the risk of leakage. After crimping, if necessary, the elements of the system are replaced, as a result of which the service life is extended.

In what cases are tests carried out

The need to check the efficiency of the heating system can occur in the following cases:

  1. Immediately after installation of the equipment.
  2. After its maintenance is carried out.
  3. After the reconstruction of the individual heat point (the location of the main equipment).
  4. After replacing the valves and locks.
  5. After the completion of a different kind of construction work.
  6. Before putting the heating equipment into operation.
  7. At the beginning of the heating season.

What this procedure is

So, what is the crimping of the heating system? Produce this procedure using special equipment - a hydraulic or pneumatic pump. Equipment is selected depending on whether tests are conducted by air or water.

Check for leaks by injecting water or high pressure air into the system. For private houses, it is usually of the order of 2 at. (In the event that the indicator of operating pressure during operation does not exceed 1.9 at.). In multi-quarters buildings, tests are conducted under much higher pressure. Its indicator also depends on the worker and exceeds it by 20-30%. After the completion of all works, an act of crimping the heating system is made.

If the system is not hermetically sealed, during the test, the injected air or water is discharged outside. Thus, it is possible to identify the "weak" places of equipment and to eliminate them in time. There are specially established rules for crimping the heating system, according to which it must be carried out at least once a year.

Preparatory work

Before testing, all valves, shut-off valves and other elements of the system must be checked. In this case, if necessary, to increase the tightness in the right places, a gland seal is added. The system is isolated from the main water pipe by means of plugs. The boiler, as well as the expansion vessel, must be switched off without fail, after which the pressurization of the heating system itself is carried out (SNiP 3.05.01-85 item 4.6).

Pressurized water

One element of any heating system is a drain cock. It is always located at the lowest point. A pump joins it, after which water is pumped into the system. Gradually filling the pipes, it displaces the air from them, which during the time of testing several times bleed. Inside pipes and radiators in the course of their operation, dirt and lime deposits accumulate. Thus, simultaneously with the tests, their washing is carried out. The crimping of the heating system is done until the pipes are completely filled. After that, the pressure begins to rise in them. Its changes are monitored using a manometer. The pressure should remain unchanged for 20-30 minutes. In the event that it falls, work is carried out to detect leaks. All welding seams, shut-off fittings, radiators, etc. are checked at this time. After all the troubleshooting work is carried out, the injection is repeated.

Air crimping

Pressurization of a heating system using air is carried out approximately the same way as with water. Only in this case, air is injected into the pipeline, respectively. Thus tests are carried out when leaks are completely unacceptable. In this case, it is important to ensure that after the tests inside the system no air bubbles remain. Tracking the possible pressure drop with this method of verification takes longer. This is because the air is compressed more than water. This type of test can only be performed by a specialist.

Pressurization of the heating system using air is also carried out if it is impossible to check using water. For example, in the cold season.

Standards

Before the crimping, a special program is prepared, which is approved by the engineer of the heat-shaving organization. It should specify:

  1. Sequence of work.
  2. The procedure for the operation of personnel.

In addition, it is indicated which brigade will perform the work and which teams work on adjacent sites. The crimping of heating equipment is carried out under the supervision of the shift supervisor. At the same time, all other works aimed at repair or maintenance of the pipeline must be stopped. Do not stay in close proximity to the equipment under test when the pressure is raised to the maximum value. Inspection of pipes and other heating equipment should be carried out only with its average values. In the case of work on sites adjacent to the subject, they should be shielded and disconnected from the test equipment. If the audit was conducted in compliance with all the above rules, an act is signed, which will be discussed later.

Act of crimping the heating system

This document is made by an authorized engineer and confirms that all work was carried out according to the rules and the tests ended successfully. Among other things, the act specifies the parameters of the crimping carried out and gives an opinion on the efficiency of the equipment and its readiness for the heating season.

In this way, the heating system in multi-apartment buildings is crimped. Private homeowners also usually trust this work to specialists. After all, compliance with all tested technologies can guarantee the smooth operation of the system during the cold season.
