Play Market: Error 495. How can I fix the failure with the simplest methods?

Almost all owners of smartphones or tablets based on the Android operating system may encounter the fact that in the built-in Google Play service, when downloading or updating applications may fail. One of the most common in the Play Market is bug 495. Immediately, you can say that the solutions below are applicable for most failures of the 400th and 600th series. Problems with connecting via Wi-Fi or failures on the part of the provider will not be considered now, since the problem itself usually does not consist in this.

Play Market: Error 495. Clean the cache and free up space on the internal drive

So, a message indicating this failure can only indicate that for some reason the download of content is impossible.

In the simplest case, this is due to the lack of disk space and the overflow of the Play Market cache. Error 495 does not directly point to this, but it is often associated with this. To begin with, you can delete unused applications or files that are too large (photos, videos, music, etc.).

Then you should use the settings menu, select the application section, find the appropriate service in it, enter the settings and click the cache clear button, using additional data deletion.

Google Play Market: error code 495. Uninstall updates

If the above actions do not provide the desired result to solve the problem, then the problem is not this. As it turns out, in the Play Market, error 495 can occur due to incorrectly installed updates of the service itself, when updates were not fully downloaded or installed incorrectly due to communication disruptions.

In the same section where the cache was cleaned, there is an uninstall button. Do not be frightened, clicking on it will not remove the service completely, but only uninstall the latest updates. After that, you will need to make an Internet connection, and new updates will be found and installed automatically.

Change the parameters of the DNS servers used to connect

Another situation that applies to mobile devices, and to cases where the Play Market version for a computer is used, may be due to the lack of response from DNS servers (either incorrect settings were configured or the parameters that were automatically received for some reason do not work).

In this situation, you can change these settings by setting default values for Google services. For DNS 1, a combination of four eights is installed on the mobile device (the preferred DNS on the computer). For DNS 2 (alternative DNS on the computer) a combination of two eights and two fours is prescribed. Addresses can be interchanged.

In mobile devices, these settings can be found in the Wi-Fi settings, where you select a network change with advanced settings, and then go to the IP settings (here first you need to set the user mode instead of DHCP).

On a computer, a similar configuration is found in the section for changing the network adapter settings with the TCP / IPv4 properties.

Delete or re-create a Google account

Finally, if this does not help, you can use the cardinal method - to delete your registration for Google services, then restart the mobile device, and when connecting to the network, create an "account" again or use an old account with the input of the corresponding Gmail email address. In principle, any of these methods can eliminate the problem of the inability to download data from the Play Market service. If you advise a particular solution, it is better to execute all the decisions sequentially, because deletion of registration is already the most extreme method, when everything else does not help. But if you understand, as a rule, before this case does not reach.
