Planning a site is an important stage in its development

Planning of the land begins with its careful study, for which the measurement of boundaries and applying them to a plan with an exact binding to the sides of the world. Further, the relief and structure of the soil is investigated, the wetter and the driest areas are determined, and existing plantations are noted.

The features that have planning a suburban area are related to the need for zoning or planning in accordance with the distribution to the zones. The exact distribution depends on the size of the holdings, but for small areas the following ratio is proposed: 25% of the total area is allocated to a residential area, which includes a house, lawn and decorative plantations, flower beds, a decorative pond. The remaining area is given to horticultural crops, most of which, not less than half, is allocated for fruit trees, and the balance is distributed approximately equally between the garden and the berry.

The living area is usually adjacent to a playground, the size and content of which depend on the age of the children. A mandatory attribute of this area is the sandbox, which it is desirable to make closing. You can also install a swing, an artificial shallow pond.

What place will be the most successful for the location of the house, depends on the general location of the site. If there is a carriageway from its front side, then the house should be moved away from the fence no less than 6-8 meters. In any case, this location of the house - with the lawn and flower garden broken before it - is very practical. A hedge along the fence protects the residential area from street noise and dust.

Planning the site involves removing the outbuildings away from the residential area. They may not be clearly delineated. For example, a summer shower can be located closer to the residential area, and a garbage disposal site - at the maximum distance from the house.

The planning of the site maximally organically links the buildings to the general composition of the relief and green spaces. For the summer cottage characteristic are open terraces and loggias, twined with plants, wild grapes, ivy, roses. It is worthwhile to provide and a small summer gazebo, perhaps forged, with climbing floral plants, standing near an artificial pond with a small bridge or waterfall. Choose a place for a pond preferably in advance, when the overall planning of the site is carried out, even if its construction you postponed to a later date, as well as the laying of decorative cobbled paths in the garden.

The distribution of green spaces has its own peculiarities for each plant species, but in general it is necessary to know that high and strong fruit trees (walnut, pear, apple tree) should not be planted on the southern side of the site, as they will block the access of sunlight to small berry bushes and Vegetable beds. They are best planted on the north side to protect the garden and the garden against cold winds. To the south, planted shrubs, and in the very sun broke the berry and vegetable garden.

As you can see, site planning is an important stage in its development.
