Origami boat: the easy way

With this technique, you can do anything you want. Below we will consider how a boat can turn out from a regular piece of paper. Origami will help us in this:

1. Prepare a sheet of square paper.
2. Fold it in half, bending the bottom up.
3. Spread out. Bend now the edges to the center line, i.e. Fold each side in half.
4. Turn the workpiece over to the other side and fold the workpiece in half again.
5. It turns out that the sheet is composed of an accordion. Bend one side.
6. Wrap the top edges to the middle to form a triangle.
7. Turn the same on the other side (bottom).
8. Bend the figure in half so that the triangles are inside.
9. Open the boat, bend the lateral parts of the triangular shape inwards to make a triangle.
10. Middle corners bend on yourself.
11. Uncover the entire structure. Promote the bottom and mark the side parts of the boat.

That's what a punt-boat came out of. Origami is very simple and understandable to make such a craft.

Making a boat together

For the next boat you will need a standard sheet of A4 paper.

1. Fold the sheet in half (across).
2. Re-fold the sheet in half.
3. Unfold. You have a sheet folded once in half, with a marked fold line in the middle.
4. Fold the upper corners to the middle to make a triangle.
5. The front lower part is bent upwards to form the fold line under the triangle base.
6. On the sides there were two small triangles, which must be bent on the opposite side of the main triangle.
7. Turn the product over and perform the same operations as with the first side.
8. Open the product so that the diamond is made. Smooth out all edges.
9. The lower part of the rhomb is bent upwards, so that about a centimeter remains to the top.
10. Do the same on the other side. The origami boat is almost ready. There are a couple of things left.
11. Turn the workpiece toward you and pull at the side parts, opening the boat.
12. Give it a clearer shape.

This is the standard model. Such a boat-origami is known to everyone from childhood, when in the spring along the streamlets whole squadrons of paper ships were launched .
