On the level of the championship itself can be judged by the representation in it of teams that until recently played at the best in the first and second leagues of the USSR championship. In addition, the country was not up to football. The matches were held practically at empty stands. The best players, not seeing further prospects, moved to the countries of near and far abroad. Changed the situation and Omari Tetradze. In 1991, he became a player of the Moscow "Dynamo". Here, the player played four seasons. As a player, "Dynamo" took part in the final stage of the 1994 World Cup in the Russian team. The team performed extremely unsuccessfully, unable to overcome the group stage of the competition. Adopting Greek citizenship, he, along with performances for the club, passed mandatory military training in the ranks of the armed forces of the country.

Wishing to take part in the World Cup 2002, he returns to the Russian championship, to his native team "Anji". Here Omari spends a good season, clearly and reliably performing the functions assigned to him by the defender. But after he was superfluous in the entry list for the World Cup, after finishing the championship for "Anji", Tetradze goes to the Samara "Wings of the Soviets."
